At first he was extremely helpful and very good at educating me about my worry and depression. He also had expertise on medication which he discussed with my doctor. But I noticed his admin assistants don’t stay with him for long. I asked about that once and he gave me TMI on their personal problems. Didn’t seem professional to air dirty laundry. He suddenly lost his cool with me out of the blue over something small. When I told him things he did that bothered me he responded he was cold and detached or defensive. I felt his need to be right was just more important in the end than how I felt.

Wonderful experience. Very helpful, staff was great, supportive. Compassionate, knowledgeable, empathetic. I had tried a couple of other therapists and am glad I met Dr. McKnight. He changed my life and I would highly recommend him.

Dr. McKnight is the first psychologist I have ever seen that took the time to understand my case, me, and who knew how to help me. He clearly knows what he is doing, and yet showed compassion for me. His staff was also very supportive and professional. I would highly recommend him.

Really helpful advice and smart. A few times he or his office made a few mistakes, i.e. didn't schedule my appointment correctly, and he didn't apologize. But he charged me when I missed my appointment once!
