I feel so fortunate that Ernest's path and mine crossed. I learned so much during all my sessions with him and I continue to go over the notes I took after my sessions with him. He changed many wrong ideas I had about life, such as the little control we have over life. Thank you, Ernest! You are one of a kind!

Ernest is thorough and does a great job at helping his clients. I initially went to Ernest for marital counseling and then went back after My divorce. He asked why did I return when me and my husband divorced. I told him he gave helpful advice, we just chose not to apply it.

He has forever changed my life with his guidance and suggestions. I recommend him to any child up to an elder. He is excellence regardless of gender, race, class and etc.

My husband and I have started seeing Mr McCoy for marriage counseling and I’m very happy to have found him. Whereas some therapists will talk with you endlessly about your ideas, more than any other therapist I have known Mr McCoy gets into the structural issues right away. I like his sense of humor and his insight. He seems deeply caring but doesn’t placate but works to actually help you with what seem to be Cognitive Behavioral strategies. He seems to have studied many approaches. Among other things he’s worked a long time with young people as director of counseling at a university. His basic approach is to have us talk to each other while he observes. Pretty soon he jumps in to ask direct questions or redirect us. He seems a man of profound insight into the human condition and is helping us a lot already.
His office is modest and parking is a little tight but the services are amazing and that’s what we’re there for.

In my opinion Ernest is not sensitive towards women's issues. I felt like I was not being listened to and that I was being treated disrespectfully.

Ernest is the real deal. He is witty, cheerful, compassionate. He shows patience, coupled with a kind way of not taking my stuff--he helps me see what I am doing to get in my own way, and allows me the realization that I don't have to keep up the self-destructive behaviors. I am lucky to have insurance and that the group accepts it, as it doesn't reimburse the practice very well. If Ernest can't help you learn to accept yourself and get on the path to a happier life, then God help you, literally.

Ernest has helped me find confidence and understanding of myself. He is someone that I hold dear to my heart.. I went through a lot of psychologist before finding him. I wouldn't recommend anyone else.
