I have been going to counseling with Dr. Mitchum for several years now. His professionalism is always appreciated, and his memory is unbelievable. He has the ability to help me so much, by being an outsider looking in to the situations I am in. He has helped me with the death of loved ones, abandonment of a family member, an affair, excruciating break ups, suicide attempts by my mother, marital issues... I could go on and on. He always cares. He always listens. He always knows when to speak. He is the best therapist I have ever been to, and I have and will continue to refer others to him.

While punctuality is not his strong suit, he makes up for by giving you as much time and attention as necessary for your appointment. And his staff is excellent. Strongly recommend.
