Dr. Gottlieb treated me for a couple of years without incident. But recently a series of mishaps escalated from bad to worse. My critical medications were halted at my pharmacist repeatedly due to his office's failure to process my pharmacy refill requests. And when I finally reached a human to discuss these problems, they terminated our conversations without taking any action to correct the situation, leaving me to attempt navigating their answering service for numerous more attempts to reach a human to receive care. They mishandled my request for transfer of my medical records to another doctor, resulting in a second lapse of my prescriptions. Then they refused to authorize the refill of my medications, stating that I was no longer a patient. I could not be treated by another provider since my records were not successfully delivered to my new provider. I have never had a worse healthcare experience. I wish I'd seen these reviews before placing my health in Laureate Medical.

Do not feel like he cares about his patients. As referred to him from my doctor who was worried about an internal illness. He looked at me and literally said I doubt anything is wrong right off the bat. Did not give me a chance to tell him the severity of my symptoms or how much it hurt when he performed certain diagnostics on me ( muscle weakness is a big problem of mine). Now I still have no answer, which is fine if he cant find it.....but when you have a patient that cant get out of bed it would be helpful to let them know what to do next if he can't help me.... He wasn't concerned at all with how i feel though...

Dr. Gottlieb is a joke. He is always leaves you sitting in the exam room way too long, and won't listen to you when you "complain" about symptoms. After seeing him for over a year, I told him that I felt like I was back-stepping this last visit. He did perscribe another medication, but it made me too groggy to even get off the couch...more symptoms from it added with my other symptoms didn't make sense. I called back and made the mistake of telling his nurse that he was rude and didn't listen (isn't that what a doc should do? listen?)and asked if there wasn't something else he could do. I got a phone call the next day saying "there isn't anything elses he can do for you", meaning, go find another doc, you are no longer his patient. What a joke. It is bad enough haveing FMS and dealing with it, but he was certainly a waste of time & money.

Gottliebis a great physician. He is to the point, not a hand holding kind of doctor, but one that surely is thourough. He is very serious and does not have the best patient-side manners - can even seem rude, but this doesn't affect his medical skills. He knows what he is doing and won't let any symptom go unchecked. He is always on time; therefore, be prepared with all your questions since he won't linger. His nurses are friendly, this is not the case with the office's accounting staff. I highly recommend him, specially for diagnosis of a disease.

I have been seeing this doctor for several years and he's always been professional and, I believe, very knowledgeable. He has personally called me with lab reports and answered any questions I may have had. He has also given me copies of anything on my record that I have asked.

This Doctor is very rude and not the least bit helpful. His office people also don't care to help or return phone calls. He does not listen or even act like he cares.

Dr. Gottlieb is awful. My husband was a patient of his and my husband was in a motorcycle wreck. My husband had to be admitted to Atlanta Medical center 2 times (The second because he got an infection) Dr. Gottlieb refused to give the insurance company the go ahead for surgery to remove gang green off his foot. He wouldn't even come and see his foot. I talked to insurance company and they did pay, no thanks to him.
