Dr Myerson is the best doctor there is in Atlanta, I wish he practiced in Augusta. I miss his injections so much. They were the only ones that helped.

Not the same office or care it used to be. Zero care in between visits. It’s a shame because the Dr is a walking medical encyclopedia but once you leave the office forget about any after care. Not sure if it’s the Dr. or clinical staff, but it’s slowly declined over the years.

Terrible customer service, and Sonya S, (the LPN) that handles the patient portal is condescending and insisted on discussing private information in the Reception area where other patients could hear everything. One patient was literally 2 ft away from us, and heard every word. Dr. Myerson is a good doc, but the front office staff is miserable. I would avoid this practice, and find another Rheumatologist.

I have been a patient of Dr Myerson for over 20 years. I tried 4 other doctors for my arthritis and fibromyalgia before he was recommended to me by another physician. He is by far the best. He has been an excellent doctor not only for what he treats me for but also has recommended other doctors for me when I have needed something else. They have all been very good. I tried 4 other rheumotologists before another doctor recommended him to me and I have been his patient ever since.

Great doctor. Great PA, Anna. However, office staff not so great. I was very disappointed when they would not allow me to follow through on my visit because I owed a bit of money (less than $200; after insurance). I tried to explain my situation, but they demanded half on that day, and a post-dated check or credit card for the rest - I told them I could give them the $50 copay for the day, plus my $20 gas money, and the other $20 I had to pay for parking (which cost me $6 that was wasted on the trip!) - they refused. Pitiful! I was in so much pain and discomfort, and I know Dr. Myerson would not have been happy with the girls - The office staff always feels they are doing the doctor a favor by not letting patients through that owe any bit of money. I know for a fact, Dr. Myerson would have seen me had he known my circumstances. HE IS ABOUT THE PATIENT - the office staff do not give any care whatsoever - so sad:(.

I rate Dr. Gary Meyerson as a ZERO. Yes, he is charming, thorough and knowledgeable when you finally get to see him (2 1/2 hours in the waiting room is not unusual) but there is absolutely NO follow-up after your visit. . All queries are handled by his clinical aides (who are not MD's) by sending a message to a portal. So, for example, I was told by one of these aides to take a medication that would have caused serious internal bleeding had I taken it. That Meyerson allows his non-medical staff to suggest medications is unethical and potentially dangerous. My recommendation: Find a rheumatologist who truly cares about his patients. Since Meyerson NEVER takes call-backs from a patient , you are "stuck" if you have a serious need for his expertise following a recommendation he gave you at your office visit . His way of practicing medicine is the worst I have ever experienced. I queried other doctors and every one of them agreed that they have never heard of an MD who never, ever returns a patient's call. My recommendation: Stay away!

Worst doctor and staff ever, especially his RN and front office . Wait time in the office is about 3-5 hours and had tslks about his scuba diving, grandkids, anything but your medical issues. Worst experience ever!

He is a great physician and Anna, his PA, is wonderful. You CANNOT get in touch with his office. You can make an appointment on their website;however you can NEVER ask a question and they do not answer the phone....making it impossible for your pharmacy to get in touch with his office. I have had, on two occasions, to drive to Dr Myerson's office to ask a question or ask them to call my pharmacy (the pharmacy had a question about a prescription that he had written). He has sold his practice to a conglomerate meaning that it is now ran solely as a business that focuses on the bottom line. This business model is unfriendly to the patient and a detriment to patient care.

The best Rheumatologist around. Having known & seen several, he is the best there is. It may bee a little of a wait for your appointment but take a book He is worth the wait. He spends whatever necessary time with each of his patients. He is extremely knowledgeable about pretty much all bodily systems & if he doesn't know the answers he will find them for his patients. I have known this Dr for over 30 years & as a healthcare professional myself I say there are none better.
