Dr. Bigelow saved my life when I was 21 years old, I accidentally ate something tiny and sharp ? Like a chicken bone or a fish bone, anyways long story short if Doc. Hadn't gone back in for a scope I wouldn't be here today. So thank you. You had me smiling on the way in we took a photo together! I heard you've moved on from Carleton hospital I'm due in June and was really hoping to thank you in person. I hope you read this.

Yesterday morning, this nervous, 76 year old arrived at the QCH for my slated hernia operation. Went into the operating room at 0930, woke up in post op an hour later, no pain, no memory of the proceedure, left for home at 1230. Got up this morning, no pain, showered,amazed that there was not even any sort of discomfort. Dr Bigelow is my nomination for hero of the month. Thank you Doctor.

Dr. Bigelow performed a very difficult bowel resection a few years ago. He is a top notch surgeon. He is compassionate, knowledgeable and very attentive to details. I would never see anyone else.

Dr Bigelow performed a bowel resection for my colon cancer in oct 2012. I have had several follow up visits and 3 colonoscopies since then. He is attentive and follows up in a timely fashion. Would highly recommend him

The best. I had hernia repair with mesh. Loved him. Fast, straight forward, get it done. Staff in his office was fabulous, seems like just one woman, but she knows her stuff. I would recommend Dr. Bigelow to everyone. GREAT surgeon.

He is the best of the best, he is "Superman" at QWC!
On the 29.May I had my surgery 2 days later I had no more pain, even stopped my narcotic medication, all healed great ! Never experienced a team which was that outstanding!
I had 3 major operations prior to being operated by Dr. Bigelow I therefore I know what I am talking about.
