Dr. Needham-Nethercott cared for my father-in-law while he was in the ICU recently. She showed great care and compassion for him and our family. She also clearly communicated the medical situation and options. We couldn’t have asked for a better doctor.

When my Aunt was recently in the ICU approaching the end of her life, I admired her knowledge and leadership in guiding our family to the right decision for my Aunt. She and the ICU staff at Grand River were compassionate yet practical - a perfect combination. Thanks to Dr. Needham-Nethercott, my Aunt died quickly and without discomfort - a good end to a great life. Thank you!

Dr Needham-Nethercott saved my life. I was bleeding out after a surgery and she lead other staff members in assessing and addressing the issues. I received 6 units of blood and I am happy to be alive because of her knowledge and swift action. I think of her as my personal Angel of Mercy.

Dr. Nethercott is the best I have ever been attended by, from out of province I was taken to Grand River with stomach problems (diarrhea) and lucky when I was seen by Dr. Nethercott. To quote this special person and Dr. “Your story has not been told yet” she went beyond the stomach issue and to the heart as a possible cause for my problem. Thanks to Dr Nethercott my story was told when I was sent to St. Mary’s for an angiogram and subsequently an angioplasty procedure, she saved my life and allowing my story to be told.

My brother in law died in ICU while being cared for by this Doctor and staff. Despite this outcome our family was certain everything had been done that could be done, and done with kindness and compassion. Some things are just too impossible to overcome, but they gave it their all. In a difficult situation, they cared.
