I was diagnosed with kidney as well as bladder cancer several years ago. As far as I'm concerned, I'm alive today because of Doctor Ogan ! He is very knowledgeable and compassionate. He cares about his patients. He is what every doctor should be !!

Dr Ogan is a God Sent!I Love him,He is so caring compassionate, Best bedside experience. I will never forget him and all he done for me.His staff is the Best! Always had a smile. Visit you in person concern how you are physically and emotionally! He listens and answer any questions you ask patiently. Be careful if he has a vacation coming up. He will leave town and not think twice about checking on you. He actually cut my father's bladder and rectum during a robotic prostatectomy and did not know (allegedly). He then immediately left for vacation. As my father got worse, the intern he left in charge claimed it was a nicotine withdrawal. Guess that has the same symptoms as being septic? My father almost died. We have since moved doctors and hospitals. The worst part...never heard another word from Dr. Ogan even though he was aware of what had happened. Our new doctors, who know Dr. Ogan, said they would gladly confront him when they saw him because he should have recognized what was going on. My father's life is ruined. No exaggeration. Please be careful of the robot and who operates it!

Dr. Ogan and his team are willing to continue working with a patient long after other doctors have given up. He is compassionate and innovative. He listens to the needs and concerns of his patient, and tries to address them in a kind, patient manner.

dr. ogan performed a cystectomy with a neobladder on my mother ~4 1/2 yrs ago. she has nothing but wonderful things to say about him. he was wonderful during the immediate surgical and post-op period and continues to give her excellent follow-up care- extremly knowledgable and patient. he has been a real blessing for our family!!!

Dr. Ogan performed my nephrectomy a couple of years ago and was fabulous. However, it is the Emory system that seems to be the real problem. They seem more interested in volume than in quality relationships with their patients.
