Dr O'Brien is an excellent doctor. I've been seeing him for over 8 yrs, he's very understanding and supportive. I have the up most respect for him has a doctor and person he truly care for his patients. Thank you for all the help.

Dr. O'brien is a nice person, but under his care for 4 years my brother has not gotten better- if anything he has gotte worse. He is not very good at replying to phone calls, though my brother had given consent. We think it is best if he makes a referral to a new psychiatrist as clearly he is not able to progress with him. He has not done so and another year has passed.

I have been seeing Dr O’Brien every 3 weeks for about 2 years . My experience with him has been nothing but positive. I find him to be a very good listener, easygoing and has a relaxing personality, which makes my sessions with him very pleasant. I am normally a very private person and has difficulty opening up to people, but with Dr O’brien, I felt relaxed enough and was able to open up quite easily. He has been very helpful and professional throughout the time I have known him and I will definitely recommend him.

Absolute crap. Doesn't listen to me, what good is a 25 min appointment every 4-6 weeks to just fill my prescription. Been dealing with depression, borderline with no help. Never returns calls, never follows up on referrals to other programs. Figures it is a waste of time as the wait lists are way too long. Doesn't "validate" my feelings and god forbid you actually have a meltdown as he tells you to shush. Stuck with him as there is no one else available. Took me over a year just to get him. Find someone else if you can.

Dr. O'Brien has helped me through years of ups and downs of depression, medication changes and family troubles. He is always up to date on what meds are working and how for my paricular case and is always ready to help if I need him on an extra visit. He saved my sanity.

I have been under Dr. O'Brien's vigilant care for some time now. He is solely responsible for saving my life. As his patient, I have put my life in his hands, he is very bright and knows his patients well. When a session ends I feel all is well in my world. No problems with setting up with appointments and and I have found him to be prompt at returning phone calls. Prescriptions are well managed and I never have to worry about running out of my meds, even when he is away. I relate to him well and find him easy to communicate with. He doesn't have any staff so I put in a 3.

I have had an array of experiences with 6 psychiatrists in the last 14 years and none compare to Dr. Brian. He not only starts with low dose first but also complement with counseling. Dr. Brian is caring and compassionate person who personally called me back whenever I needed and even did not charged me for my missed appointments. Without doctor Brian's excellent care, I would not have been able to regain my professional and functional life again over the last 8 years. Recently when I need medical intervention again, I did not think twice but to see Dr.Brian because he is one of the best doctor in his profession. He is very knowlegeable, respectful, accessible and supportive person. I would highly recommend Dr. O'Brien to anyone.

Very supportive and helpful. Time is well spent with him. I have improved with his help. He deserves his vacation and I know when he's away and what to do then. I am grateful for his excellent care.I wouldn't want another psychiatrist. My experience has NOT been like the 2 previous comments!
