I found his presence to be rude and his ego seemed hurt that I had done some research into my chronic hives. I have had them for years and as well as swollen body parts, sore joints and pain, and fever. He did not think I had lupus which is what I suggested since Lupus can actually imitate various other disease he said I had some other stupid skin writing hives thing. Then how come I can't get out of bed some days? Why are there sores on my tounge? I could barely tell him my story before he left and I was administered the test I reacted to absolutely nothing. I will.never see him again and I will tell everyone I know to stay away from him. He was egotistical and totally came off as know it all and rude. I know what my body is doing. He clearly didn't care or have the time. Thanks. I'll never see you again.

We took our 2.5 year old son for allergy testing, and I was quite nervous about how things would go after I read the (negative) reviews. However, Dr. Smith was great with our son, very patient, and was very direct when discussing his results (which we appreciated). The office is very old, crowded, and is not stroller friendly (we had to bring our 6 month old too), so appropriately plan ahead. We would absolutely go back again.

I went to see Dr smith due to allergic reactions that I cannot pinpoint. He brushed off my questions and didn't seem to believe that my answers to his questions were right. I went in there expecting him to care and geninely try to figure out my problem, but I felt like he was just trying to rush patients through the door without much effort. I think it is time he retires. He doesn't seem to care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Smith's for the past several years. He and his staff are generally not warm and fuzzy but that doesn't really bother me. I have never found him to be downright rude although his receptionist can come across that way. I have no complaints about his diagnosis or treatments and at my last appointment he offered me a new solution to my allergies which allows me to take medication at home instead of having to go into my family doctor to get shots. This has made my life a lot easier! I cannot complain about the service I have received from Dr. Smith. However, I am not sure I would bring a child to see him. Although he is always very punctual, which is great if you have kids with you, his office is not what I would call child-friendly.

Was stung by several yellowjacket Wasps. Found I was very allergic to all Wasp and bee stings. Was on an Epi Pen for years. On his recommendation took shots to regain immunity over 5 years. I am now immune and do not have to carry and Epi Pen. Dr. Smith is an excellent allergist. He tells you how to overcome the Allergy if that is possible. I found him very direct and knowledgable. Would recommend highly.

I was extremely dissatisfied with this Dr. Very unfriendly and very poor bedside manner. He didn't even give me the chance to ask questions. He was quick to medicate without explaining. I would not recommend at all! The office staff were helpful and friendly. But the office was run down and crowded.

First of all the receptionist is so rude that you think you are in a 5th world country!! She is yelling and angry for no reason on the phone, no sure how they hire a non-friendly receptionist like her!! When we went there for my son's allergy test, here what happened: The nurse was very arrogant, non-friendly, and not helpful at all, she was treating my 3 years son as an adult which make his condition really worse. My son has never cried in any other clinics so much and she made him freaked out from the 1st moment we entered the clinic. As a mother, I really regret that I didnt read reviews about Dr. David Smith before taking my son to his clinic, as you see, there are many bad reviews about them regarding how they treat kids!!PLEASE DON'T YOUR KIDS TO THIS CLINIC!! This clinic has to be audited based on so many bad reviews and action has to be taken if there any regulations regarding public health clinics in Ontario!!!!

NOT HELPFUL. NOT CARING. MD is not forthcoming of any useful information, is curt. MD does not provide quality care, nor delivers complete care. Staff are an odd bunch and seem to give the impression that you should not have a reason to re-book an appt. THey are NOT child friendly. They are NOT accomodating to siblings attending appt (even if you are breastfeeding your infant!). Unreal and out-dated practice. Go somewhere else if you can!!!
