Was seeing this doctor off and on for a few years. He was impatient in answering questions and doesn’t seem to care about his patients well being. I never went back to see him again.

I was a patient of another Dr. which he referred me to Dr. Chauret and took me for an number of visits which I had to pay ahead. Because I was from Quebec this Dr. refused me as a patient as he told me that he was not allowed to take Quebec patients at the Monfort Hospital this was a few years ago and surprised that he did take some patients and not others, Very disapointed in this Dr.

I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and was feeling quite overwhelmed, but Dr. Chauret was very positive, informative, and supportive. It really made a difference and motivated me to follow his guidance. He has kept me and my baby healthy throughout the pregnancy. His staff are also very competent. I am from Quebec and he took my health card no problem.

Dr. Chaurest was treating me with asthmatic and overactive thyroid. He bluntly stopped treating me and never referred me to another dr. because of Quebec insurance. No respect for individual I felt lost without professional help. To me very unprofessional

I had the absolute best experience with Dr Charet. I have mixed connective tissue disease, had been suffering all the symptoms for years and having to see various specialist for each problem. Dr Charet took the time to review my entire case and diagnosed the problem. I know see specific specialist and they can assess my needs appropriately. Dr Charet was so kind to me. I wanted to cry when he finally took the time to figure everything out. Thank you Dr Charet, my life is much better because of you

Was very impatient, did not provide me with the asthma test my family doctor had referred me for. He told me that 'After 60 year old, people do not have new allergies!'. Well, I certainly have new 'intolerances' to pollen, which I did not have before! Then, he asked the intern to prescribe me allergy pills and got out of the office! Very disappointed with his attitude. I went to see another allergist who confirmed that I had problems (bronchitis - intolerances). I am 66 yr old and it is the first time that I see a doctor with such irrespectful ways of talking to a patient. I was speechless, shocked and very disappointed.

Excellent Doctor who allows you to discuss symptoms and treatments in order to come up with a course of treatment you both can be comfortable with. He's supported at the Montfort by excellent diabetic nursing staff. I'm pretty involved in my diabetes management and well read, he's never discounted anything I've asked. He's always supported discussing any new information I've brought to the table. Awesome experience.

I just had a fantastic experience with Dr. Chauret at the Montfort. Extremely supportive and knowledgable, but also able to explain conditions and expected outcomes. We need more like him!
