Excellent surgeon, who takes the time to explain what he is going to do. Very encouraging, does not make empty promises, checks in after the operation. Very easy to reach by communicating with his very efficient assistant Suzanne. Highly recommended.

Excellent chirurgien, qui prend le temps d'expliquer ce qu'il va faire. Très encourageant, ne fait pas de promesses en l'air, prend des nouvelles après l'opération. Très facile à joindre en communiquant avec Suzanne, son adjointe très efficace. Hautement recommandé.

In 2013 Dr Benoit St Jean saved my life from a burst appendectomy I am very grateful to have been directed to this surgeon .Very knowledgeable with great beside manners surgeon .This surgeon is amazing no other word. Thank you Dr StJean.

This is your run-of-the-mill assembly line surgeon. Sees you 5 min (no visit, coat on), announces your need a part removed, you get a date, show up, he removes the part, done. Next to zero post care. Follow up over the phone, no one assesses the surgery wounds. If you are lucky and heal well, good for you. If you are not so lucky then you better get assertive, or you might end up at the ER with an infection. Under NO circumstances ask questions: he is abrupt, dismissive, and can’t be bothered. Time for the next body part to remove!

I found this dr to be dismissive and condescending, rushed me thru my appts, talked overtop of me as I was trying to ask questions, did nothing to come my anxiety, he became frustrated with me as I was in pain and couldn’t lift my arm as fast and as high as he wanted, he made the decision to not order home care for me, even tho it was covered, leading me to believe he has no idea or doesn’t care at all what pain his patients are dealing with.....could use some interpersonal skill training for sure. He has no “bedside” manners at all.

I was referred for Dr. St-Jean to assess my hernias. He spent about 5 mins. Assessed and said I didn’t have inguinal hernias. I asked what the pain was then? He didn’t really seem to care and sent me on my way. Helpfulness.... 0

I’m not 6 days post-op from my laparoscopic cholecystectomy and I’m healing beautifully. Although being in the middle of a pandemic, Dr. St-Jean took the time to go over everything with me prior to the surgery. His team was wonderful and allowed for my first surgery ever to go as smooth as possible. Thanks a million to Dr. St-Jean and his team!

Dr. St. Jean was amazing! He was very kind and very informative. He explained exactly what he was going to be doing, and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend him and his staff!
