Biography
I became a doctor because I enjoy caring for the medical needs of Native Americans. I am a member of the Lumbee tribe from Lumberton, NC. I am very active in the community with my sponsorship of a local race car driver for the past 12 years and supporting the Haliwa Saponi Pow Wow annually. I strive to treat my patients as an extension of my family with the same compassion and level of care as if they were my family. I believe healthcare is a collaborative effort between the patient and the provider, and I encourage my patients to have an active role in their healthcare. My clinical interests include adult diabetes management and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.

The staff up front is never polite. When my kids are sick they never have an opening. Plus we had a major issue going on and wanted to speak directly to her and she didn't have the decency to call back. 4 days later nurse did and it was to late then.
