Very rushed appointment and not thorough at all. I didn't feel taken seriously. She seemed apprehensive to look at my skin.

Dr Hawkins was so kind & understanding. She took the time to sit & hear my concerns. She was very compassionate & understanding. Thankful to have met her.

All my appointments with her were booked for 30 min, she visited me for 5-10 mins.
I don't have any issue with that. However, I don't understand why she is always running at least 30 late for my appointments?!?!

Horrible way to schedule appointments. My mother’s physician referred her to Dr Hawkins. We received an appointment confirmation by text message. No information on who to call, only reply 1 to confirm and 2 to cancel. I looked up her website online to find the number to call and reschedule there was no phone number on her website! I found a number for her other clinic who gave me the number to this clinic which had a voice recording with another number for patients that goes straight to voice mail. I left a message and received a call back from a blocked “no called ID” number with her new appointment time and they didn’t leave a number to call back, only an email address. I am not sure why all this secrecy to book an appointment! Needless to say, I asked my mothers physician to refer us somewhere else!

I personally had a great experience with Dr. Hawkins - she is rather quick but I didn't feel rushed out, she answered all my questions. Staff have been awesome as well.

I found her to be rude and my appointment was very rushed. I wanted a mole removed (and I was willing to pay for the removal) and I could tell she did not want to do it because it would leave a scar. Just because she would rather have a mole over a scar doesn’t mean that everyone wants that. It should be about what her patient wants, not her preference. I would never recommend to anyone.

Dr Hawkins should really just be called a cosmetologist. Gives a perfunctory exam and prescribes without any real basis. No follow up whatsoever. When no results, another prescription and less information than what you’d get yourself online. She is friendly but not a particularly good doctor. I’d get the same knowledge from the shoppers drug mart beauty counter. The skin issues I have are not resolved and likely won’t be from here.

I came in to discuss my skin condition and not get any medication and she said "So you just came here to tell me this.". Left the appointment feeling disrespected. Also talked down to me as well as was very pushy as she only books 10 minute appointments.... She was already trying to prescribe me medication 30-60 second into the appointment with no up close look at my skin. This is my 3rd appointment here, all have been bad. Would never again go to her. Great staff, horrible doctor.

Dr. Hawkins is amazing! Not only did she give me the best guidance possible on my condition (which I have suffered with for 15 years).. she performed a procedure that has RADICALLY improved my life. I was terrified to have it done, as I wasn’t sure about pain/recovery, and she was so kind and gentle, VERY reassuring. She said “trust me, I promise you will barely feel it”.. and she was right. Now whenever I need a repeat, her staff gets me in promptly and I’ve never been happier or more grateful.

Her mood and demeanour are uplifting, and she is sharp with her knowledge, and I found her helpful and not condescending AT ALL (even when I cited some questionable things I’ve researched).

All doctors are busy, you can’t possibly know what patient they have just seen, or the one coming after you. I absolutely do feel I was given my due attention. Will continue seeing her and singing her praises! Thanks Dr. Hawkins!

Not helpful at all! Way too breezy and nonchalant about a very worrisome problem. Plus the fees for writing g prescriptions does not seem correct.would not return and would not recommend.very sad they seem to be the only dermatologists in our city.Dr.Hull is very missed.
