Surgery failed and he refused to assess and recognize surgery was a fail. Took me 7 years to find a doctor who found out what was wrong and fix it.

He did arthroscopic surgery to repair meniscus in my left knee. Total repair, went perfectly! Great doctor, spends time explaining things to you. Only took a few weeks of healing. His staff was great with the exception of staff returning calls. I had to call back a few times. Other than that an overall great experience.

I found the office staff to be extremely unprofessional and rude. They told me one thing on the phone, and in person told me something else. When I pointed out that I brought what they and my PCP told me to bring, they called me names and lectured me on how I am responsible to know what to bring. When I became upset, they lectured me on the "appropriate" and "acceptable" voice level to use in their office and how to treat their employees, then told me they have a "zero tolerance" policy and threatened to have me escorted off the premises. I left to obtain the proper paperwork from my PCP, and returned shortly with it. The woman at the front desk ignored me. I had to stand directly in front of her to get her to acknowledge me and even then she rudely asked me what I wanted. When I told her I wanted to finish the registration process, she told me someone would be out soon to see me. I waited and when the woman finally came out, she told me that because of their zero tolerance policy I would not be accepted as a patient. I waited three weeks for this appointment. It's for a consultation on a shattered ankle that has 2 plates, 9 screws in it and is exhibiting enough swelling and pain to make it impossible to walk about 50% of the time. I would never recommend this office to anyone. My experience with it was abuse, lies, and no treatment. Don't waste your time.

I found Dr. Avallone to be kind, considerable and an excellent physician. He surgically repaired my fractured elbow and recently removed the hardware. I would not hesitate to use his services again.
