Dr. Ames performed my total knee replacement in June 2023. He did an amazing job. My scar is healing nicely. I would give him and his staff a 10+

Dr. Ames is truly a gifted surgeon. I feel very fortunate that I had him for both of my total knee replacements. Prior to surgery my legs were bowing out. They now are perfectly straight. Three times a day I faithfully did my exercises as instructed and couldn't be more pleased with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Ames and am so grateful that because of his skill my life is easier.

Dr. Ames performed a total right hip replacement on me five days ago. He is approachable, patient, kind, empathetic, and willing to answer any questions without rushing his patients. His staff are completely on the ball Answering emails, and phone calls tirelessly. My entire experience with Dr. Ames and his staff has been nothing but incredible. I would highly recommend him to any of my family members or friends.

My mom had a knee done by Dr. Ames in September and is having her other replaced tomorrow. He really is the best. She gave it her all with physio and by 2 weeks she could almost touch her butt to the ground. He did an amazing job and I’m so grateful.

Dr. Ames is professional, reliable, approachable and has excellent people skills.

His staff are efficient and effective-they make the appointments, inquires, and paperwork painless.

I am totally confident in his ability and skills as a surgeon. I am so glad he is in Winnipeg as excellent Dr’s are rare in this province.

Dr. Ames and his staff answer emails before and after surgery. The staff are accountable and knowledgeable.

Dr. Ames is an excellent orthopaedic surgeon! I’m so thankful he’s replaced my knees. He takes the time to answer my questions & is quite approachable.

I am so blessed to have Dr. Ames as, my surgeon. He has done bunion & hammer toes on both feet. I also had a hip replacement. He is an impeccable surgeon, knowledgable, patient, kind, and caring with an incredible staff. I am having my other hip done this year. I highly recommend Dr.Ames.

I had my left knee replaced by Dr. Ames in October 2021 and am very pleased with the result. I'm now waiting for TKR of my right knee, hopefully this October, and I can't imagine having to trust anyone else. Dr. Ames was very pleasant and took time to explain the process and the ensuing outcome very thoroughly.
I highly recommend Dr. Ames and his professional staff.
