I was referred to Dr.Suri after nodules in my thyroid were identified as cancerous.
Naturally, I was scared, my anxiety was through the roof, and I had a lot of questions about next steps.

Dr. Suri was friendly, and professional. She explained the necessity of this operation clearly and simply. She was easy to talk to and listened to my concerns. I was happy with the surgery she and her team at Bowmanville hospital performed to remove my thyroid. I was able to return home the next day. My recovery went smoothly. The scar is difficult to see and healed quickly. I would recommend her.

Dr Suri is an amazing person and doctor. She performed two Thyroidectomy's on me and both procedures went well . She takes the time to explain everything to detail and makes you very comfortable. There is a very small scar which isn't noticeable unless I point it out. Thank you for being an amazing doctor .

Surgically, she's fine. But I experienced other issues such as being already at the hospital, IV in arm waiting to go in and when anesthesia came to review my other medical history he said he wasn't aware of one of my conditions. I said it was on all my paperwork and Suri knew because we discussed it. He said the condition made me high risk so went to confer with her...she came back and told me she didn't know, which was a lie. We discussed it at our first meeting, it was on all my paperwork and all pre op nurses were aware as it was on the chart yet she said she didn't know? No, she just didn't consider the risk and didn't want to take that accountability. They sent me home!
My surgery was pushed off 3 weeks because of this.
Then after I finally had the surgery, after 3 more weeks of agony and malnutrition, when my husband asked how everything went she said 'good. The gallbladder definitely needed to come out. At least we know she wasn't lying'
He was furious.
Her skill is fine but her attitude was awful.
Not to mention it took 3 weeks of calls and emails to get my follow up booked and the secretary said 'Dr Suri is away so when the cats away the mice will play'. In other words they couldn't be bothered to return calls and book appointments.

In these challenging times for all doctors and hospital staff Dr. Suri's care was exceptional.
After my first consultation It turned out I needed Thyroid surgery, and Dr.Suri not only took the time to explain my condition in detail, but also spent over an hour explaining what the surgery would entail, along wth the benefits and risks of the procedure. She answered every question I had with care and understanding, and left me with full confidence going into the surgery.
The surgery was very successful, and her care was also wonderful post op even to the point she came into her surgery on a public holiday to remove my stitches.
I can't say enough about the care and professionalism of this very dedicated surgeon.
I highly recommend this wonderful doctor.

I was diagnosed with Hyperparathyroidism whereby I had 1 of my glands removed which had a cyst.
My symptoms were more thirst, constipation, frequent urination, brain fog, sleeplessness & severe fatigue.
During my consult Dr. Megha Suri exhibited professionalism, confidence in her skill set, answered all my questions and in detail explained what the procedure entailed. I knew I was in good hands when I left Dr. Suri’s office.
I appreciated Dr. Suri’s hospital followup when she visited me the following day.
Once again I am feeling my optimal self; thanks to Dr Suri.

My mother (69 years old) was a patient of Dr. Suri. Dr. Suri was so professional, kind and caring towards my mother and I. My mother had her thyroid removed because lump nodule growth. The surgery was a success and my mom is doing excellent! She is the best surgeon! Complete and thorough. I am very grateful to have Dr. Suri! I felt 100% at ease with her care! I would recommend her to everyone!

Went to see Dr Suri, for my Thyroid. The appointment was at 10am and she came 33 minutes late for my appointment and there was NO apology for being late. If the situation was reversed wouldn’t I be paying late fee for having the Dr. Waiting 33 minutes for me? To top it all up she came unprepared didn’t have the main X-ray images that determine on how and where the surgery will be operated on. She was extremely Rude, impolite she made me feel very uncomfortable. I left the clinic disappointed didn’t know what to think or conclude.
