Had my first consultation with Dr Wherrett today. She took the time to explain the results of my mammogram in detail (which no one had done yet!). She was knowledgeable and punctual. Staff was also very pleasant. Would highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr Wherrett is the kindest surgeon I’ve met. She took so much time with me to discuss my prophylactic mastectomy and how she would accomplish the aesthetic flat closure. Day of surgery she chatted with me, walked me to the OR and kept talking with me, providing calm reassurance about every aspect of the operation. I HIGHLY recommend seeing Dr Wherrett!

I first met Dr Wherrett in the breast assessment at Lakeridge hospital ... she helped me through my breast cancer diagnosis and was my general surgeon for my mastectomy..... she is literally the best dr I’ve ever had !!! My mastectomy scar is flawless ... she is also working with my plastic surgeon for my reconstruction. All the positive things you read about Dr Wherrett couldn’t be more true ... her bed side manner is amazing ... she’s so super caring and a complete pleasure

I met Dr. Wherrett in the ER at Oshawa Hospital. Her warmth and compassionate personality are genuine. Her attention to detail and bedside manner are exceptional. If you want the best, its Dr. Wherrett, she is a highly skilled Doctor, surgeon and one classy lady. She feels like a trusted friend, someone who cares deeply about those she cares for.
