Made me feel like I was wasting my time and his. Wouldn’t explore other options and told me he took offense to any other diagnosis other than what he thought was wrong with me. I will never recommend him to anyone.

Dr. McCarthy did an outstanding job with my surgery. I was in extreme pain for 4-6 months prior to surgery and was literarily unable to walk. Within a week or three after surgery I was almost back to my old self again. Thanks, Delco, oops I mean thank you very kindly, Dr. McCarthy !!!

Dr. McCarthy is wonderful! He is clearly passionate about what he does and I would recommend him to anyone I know. He answered all my questions and was very confident and reassuring, which made me feel more comfortable. The staff is great as well. I am so thankful I chose him. His care and years of experience was exactly what I needed! He is an excellent surgeon!

This man has a "God complex" and wanted nothing to do with me after the surgery. He had his Physicians Assistants (different ones every time, all of whom had an excuse for his absence) handle everything except the surgery. The physical therapist he assigned me undid any repairs he accomplished with the cage he placed at my L-5 / S- 1 discs. When asked what a mass was on my leg he said it was "bursitis". A second opinion confirmed the mass was not bursitis, but lymphedema and now I have to have it removed because it has a mass in it that I hope will not prove to be malignant. I would not let this man treat my dog. If I have future problems with my spine I do not know who the doctor will be, but I do know who it WILL NOT BE, it will not be Dr. Kevin McArthy.

I've been a patient of his for years to get checkups on my spine and he completely forgot I had ever been to him before, he treated me and billed me as a new patient. He also recommended an MRI which my surgeon told me never to do, and he wouldn't explain to me why, so I don't trust him.
