Dr. Jerzak has truly been a blessing in our families lives. My mom was referred to her through a study on Metastatic breast cancer that spread to her brain. 10 Mets were found, Mom was initially given 3-6mos to live. Thankfully, that was almost 2 years ago. Dr Jerzak is everything you could possibly want in a physician. Patient, up to date on current and upcoming treatments as well as symptoms and side effects. An absolutely lovely woman with a gentle bed side manner and incredible supporting staff. I cannot think of a single negative , even though she’s based in Sunnybrook and it can be a bit of a drive depending on where you live, she’s worth every minute of traffic or 407 bill!
I can’t thank her and her staff enough, not just for the care but the time and kindness she gave us. Forever grateful.

Dr J was a blessing in this cancer journey . She’s empathetic , listens to all my questions , discusses new research with me , and really hears me . I feel like she’s on my team and really cares about my well being ! She called me once at 7 pm to tell me the results of my test . She’s brilliant and top of her field ! In addition to all this , she’s doing some ground breaking research which hopes to inform the standard of care . Highly recommend

I have been incredibly fortunate to be under the care of Dr. Jerzak for 2 years. I was diagnosed with IDC breast cancer in April of 2020. Dr. Jerzak is incredible patient and listens to all my questions and provides me with great advice that I have been following to this date. I recently received a braca2 genetic mutation diagnosis and I am following Her advice and expertise. I am very grateful to have her as my oncologist and look forward to many more years u see her care.

Dr. Katarzyna Jerzak is a wonderful and caring medical oncologist at Sunnybrook Hospital! She is so kind and compassionate with my 80 year old mother who underwent breast cancer treatment under Dr. Jerzak’s care in January 2021. Dr. Jerzak responded to my emails and took the time during the pandemic to phone me when I had key questions about my Mom’s care. The Odette Centre at Sunnybrook has some very special staff, and we are very fortunate to have had Dr. Jerzak oversee my Mom’s treatment. Thank you Dr. Jerzak for your kindness and support!
