She is a weirdo. Socially awkward. Looks half dead. Can't prescribe medicine properly. Its time for her to retire. She needs a one way ticket to where ever the hell she came from. Terrible oncologist. You get her, switch asap. She will kill you and your loved ones.

My wife passed away. This doctor lacks compassion. She was so terrible we were advised by other doctors to leave her. During her final visits with this so called doctor, we were informed that “most other patients are scared into following my advise and don’t second guess me” my wife looked her square in the eyes and said to her that she came to get help not to be scared !! Unbelievable!!
When asked about any other ideas, protocol besides her limited old school ideas, she gets angry and rolls her eyes. This doctor is a dinosaur. Ellen Warner leaves a lot to be desired. She’s very old school. Lacks compassion and has shockingly bad bedside manner. She’s definitely not up on anything that’s current or cutting edge. One gets the impression that she’s still working off the the textbook that she graduated with back in 1967. She is not forward thinking or outside the box at all. Strictly does what’s best for herself first and sticks to the archaic, tired script. She had the audacity to tell us that her husband also a doctor at another hospital thinks she’s the best oncologist around. Her staff is really helpful.

Dr. Warner, is TIRED, drowzy, and no help whatsoever, strictly an academic, pretending to be a someone who’s a healer. Definitely does not treat the whole patient. Visits with her suck the very life and soul out of her patients under her care. Leaving you worse than when you first arrived. Truly sad for a world class hospital. A legend in her own mind.

Finally, reading the comments regarding Dr. Warner’s bedside manner was surprisingly true to my own experience !! I could have written those comments myself. Blank stares, no communication. She has very standard /generic recommendations. Anything else that’s requested beside her stale recommendations, are seen as threats to her personally and are immediately shot down. Not open to discussion. Getting anywhere with her is like pulling teeth! She makes sarcastic comments and definitely needs sensitivity training.

The lack of bed side manner for this doctor is unbelievable. She should be re-trained on sympathy because she has no sympathy for patients going through Cancer. Not only does this doctor belittle you, she acts as though you are an inconvenience to her. Constantly rolling off the eyes. Using words such as “stupid” and “joke.” Literally the most unprofessional doctor I’ve met. She is fantastic at making you feel like you’re nothing. If you have her, run.

She is never on time. Once she left me in the examining room and forgot about me. She said there was no test to determine if there is cancer in the body. I was referred for a research trial and was told they had to do a test to see if there is cancer in the body. I walked out. Prescribed an anti-nausea drug that I am allergic too and she probably didn't even look at my chart. The bottom line is she is about the dollars, the queue always says delayed and I just wonder what is the delay while anxious people with cancer are sitting for almost an hour waiting. The other doctors seem to be more punctual. terrible experience and would rather die from my cancer.

Highly recommend. Dr. Warner literally saved my life. She understands the needs of younger cancer patients. She cares so much for the well-being of her patients. Responds to emails promptly without delay. Orders tests quickly without delay. Doesn’t rush you during appointments and takes the time to discuss questions one might have. Very special person and Doctor. I probably would not be here if it wasn’t for the amazing care I received from Dr. Warner.

I agree with all the negative statements about her. About 12 years ago because I didn't agree with her she told me that I will be dead in 5 years.
