Dr New treated me from 1986 to his retirement in 2021. Dr New was consistently genuinely caring, giving advise based on truth. Dr New once said to me "don't get mad at me, I didn't make the rules". He helped me to change my false beliefs about myself and taught me healthier living skills. Dr New would express his own struggles, regrets when he thought appropriate. Dr New helped me become a better person, daughter, sister, partner, mother and friend. I needed help in 1986 by 1990, I wanted to keep learning, so I kept seeing Dr New because he always challenged me. I will forever be grateful I met Dr New and I will always remember him.

The only reason that I am writing this comment is that few people here have rated Dr New very low. This is entirely unfair. I have been seeing him for more than seven years. Without his support, I would have ended in a very dark place. He sometimes challenges you in your solid, inflexible belief system. Sometimes we need this approach. People get easily offended for the smallest things. By no means he is rude or arrogant. On the contrary, he is a highly experienced and caring psychiatrist and has helped many through the public and private sectors.
The staff are as good and highly efficient.
Would you please not pay attention to those negative and unjust comments?

Long wait list. Very EXPENSIVE and OVERPRICED. Appointment was as a waste of time and not helpful.
