Will nevervopt for this place agaon. I was fully self funded for a 2 night stay. Got sent pre packed dairy oods when lactose intolerant and on a liquid low fat diet. Complaints take months to be answered. Staff were obviouslt short staffed because it took ages for a nurse to get a dr to me when i had a reaction to targin. Pretty disgusted with the whole place. Dirty dark rooms, 4 to a room and visitors were allowed from rarly morning to late at night. No privacy. supposedly we were all high care patients.
Emergency admission. Baby sat for three days neurosurgeon charged $275 to be rude and dismissive. Vegetarian, diabetic diet dangerous unless you have salad sandwiches. Two serves of rice on one dinner with frozen three veg. Will think twice before paying to be admitted.
I have had 3 operations here in the last 12 months and have stayed for a total of 9 nights in all. I am self funded so paid my own way. At over $1000 a night I was very happy with the care I received from everyone involved during my stay in hospital. The nursing staff here are excellent, like anywhere there's alawys the 'odd' one who you can never get along with but that's to be expected. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here and ask for a 'warm' blanket in winter, it certainly helped me get some restful sleep. Accounts dept also very good and although i had to pay upfront each time for all my admissions and surgery if there was something they did not use they gave me arefund about 10 days after you check out. Infact i have had refunds on each stay. Highly recommend this hospital
Was dropped in the ward onto my knee which had just been operated on. Nurse bolted out of the room to leave me to crawl across the floor and drag myself up onto my bed. Nurse returns after 20 minutes and starts to clean up the blood on the floor and I had to tell her to put gloves on. As I result of the fall they kept me in an extra night which I had to pay for then I was discharged without any medication whatsoever. 2 days later developed blood clots in my leg requiring further medication and expense. My treatment in this hospital was definitely third world....actually I probably would have been treated better in a third world hospital. Never again
My wife had our son there. He got strep b and they would not have picked this up if i did not stop the nurse from throwing away the syringe she pumped his stomach with. My wife passed out and it took over 15 min for them to respond to the nurses emergency buzzer. Disgusted. Never again.
