Been seeing Dr Gibson on and off for about 10 years. Very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. I never feel judged and can open up about things I am going through. Dr Gibson is also very collaborative and understanding when it comes to offer support and treatment. Really recommend.

I’ve met a lot of psychiatrists and Dr Gibson is a rare gem. He takes the time to listen, he is patient, he validates and supports me. He worked with me to understand my ADHD, gave me some resources and ensured that my medication was optimal. He has really changed my life for the better and I am so grateful. Thank you Dr Gibson.

I didnt have a great experience with Dr Gibson, it was all about THAT next appointment, SIGNING up to him rather than putting my mental health first. We decided to part ways after 2 appts and to his credit he offered to refund my out of pocket expenses which was very professional and good of him. Recently saw someone else, had a great connection with new person, felt heard, seen and well managed. Advice would be to move on early if u dont feel the connection or love.

I saw him for a medication adjustment, as my GP felt I needed more specialised assistance in that field.

I appreciated that Dr Gibson admitted he had knowledge gaps surrounding autism. He said if I was happy being self-diagnosed that that was totally fine, but still offered some avenues to go down should I change my mind.

Very dry sense of humour and good bedside manner that made me feel quite comfortable discussing my sometimes triggering medical history.

The first mental health professional that I felt comfortable around, a genuinely calming presence. He listens to what you have to say but doesn't just blindly agree with your conclusions, he challenges your assumptions without invalidating you and does his best to work with you, even if you only see him every 2-3 months. Took extensive notes which was invaluable when I left Sydney and had to find a new psychiatrist. Would highly recommend.

Really great doctor, is softly spoken and quite calming to be around, honestly. Even if you only see him once every couple of months he writes extensive notes and genuinely does his best to help you and listens to what you say

I was somewhat disappointed with my time with this Doctor. He wasn't rude or improper, just distant and a bit impersonal. Maybe it wasn't the right fit for me.
