The regular work I have done with Dr Christian Heim has changed my life in positive ways I would never have believed possible when first we met about 6 years ago. In addition to being a very experienced psychiatrist with a firm focus on psychotherapy, I found him to be very approachable, calm, kind, compassionate and able to focus on my specific needs in a way that was both empathetic and educational. Most importantly, I have learned practical strategies to develop the acceptance I desperately needed to be myself and live my best possible life. For this I will be forever grateful.

Since dr helm left his practice I have tried so many psychotherapists but none hold a candle to his compassion, commitment and ability to listen. I am not sure that I will ever find the help I once treasured in dr heim. I agree with the last comment/ he is one of a kind. Thank you

Dr Heim utilises his own methods of therapeutic support, all of which are derived from evidence based practice and various other non-western practices, while rare, highly effective, subtlety and suitably tailored to the patient and the necessities of their care.

It is important for highly effective doctors to undertake a holistic approach (as does he).

Christian Heim is great, he will do what he can to assist his clients when ever he can and yes I agree with comments made by others about him but the most important thing any client needs to know is that he cares about what he does and about the outcomes for the client, he goes the extra mile to find out about new treatments. Dr. Heim is polite, always greets you with a smile and there is an air of inspiring confidence, trust and warmth in his eyes as you enter his office. His demeanour radiates a sense of equanimity, providing you with an immediate sense of calm and refuge with an aesthetically soothing environment, helping reduce any emotional and mental distress or apprehension.

Dr. Heim is a highly knowledgeable psychiatrist when it comes to the diagnosing and treatment of a mental illness. He is extremely kind and empathetic and I have always been very impressed by the equilibrium of the right and left hemispheres of his brain. Right brain 'compassion' combined with left brain 'astuteness' in the establishing a correct diagnosis through extensive years of insightful expertise in his profession. He always clarifies doubts and offers logical explanations about treatment discussing the best choice of medication for you.

Dr. Heim always exudes alertness and attentiveness, while carefully listening and talks 'with' you and not 'down' to you, creating a relaxed environment for you to discuss matters of extreme delicacy or upset with ease. In all the years he has overseen my care, not once has he been rude or abrasive in manner.

I have been a patient of Dr. Heim for ten years now and whole heartedly can recommend his passionate dedication to the comprehensive care of his patients.

If you want genuine respect, proficient care, sensitivity and don't want to be regarded as just another 'statistic,' you need look no further.
