I’ve never left an online review for anyone but Dr. H deserves all the accolades. As a diabetic and senior, I need constant monitoring so I typically visit 1-2 times/year. The clinic is nice and I enjoy my visit with Dr. H.

My mother has seen Dr. Hesla for many years now and she won’t see anyone else. My family also started seeing Dr. Helsa a few years ago. He is kind, caring and efficient in his practice and I’m glad we could leave a review on his behalf. We look forward to seeing you again next year Dr. H!

Dr. Hesla is one of the BEST for sure. I had a problem arise rather suddenly and he was able to accommodate and urgent request. His knowledge and expertise is evident, he explained what was going on with my eyes in an accessible way and was kind, professional, and patient centered. He allowed lots of time for questions and the treatment plan we decided on was conservative and effective. He even checked in with me in between appointments and adjusted the plan. To be honest, I am blown away by this entire medical experience and highly recommend Dr. Hesla.

After moving to Calgary 2 yrs ago, we needed to find a new optometrist for our family as we were due to check-ups/new prescriptions. He was great during our appointments, very friendly, thorough, informative, honest, and seems passionate about what he does. He was great with the kids too! Really appreciated that fact that he took the time to go over everything and answer our questions, and that we didn't seem rushed to get out for other patients. Highly recommend Dr. Hesla to others!

I continue to see DR. Hesla, as he helps me take care of my eyes. As a Diabetic I need to take extra time to take care of my eyes. Dr. Hesla is great at helping me make sure my vision stays at its best.

As a caring and compassionate optometrist, Aaron is always researching and keeping up with new technology. If treatment options are required, Aaron explains everything in simple terms. He is an optometrist that anyone can trust and he communicates well with his patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing the services of an optometrist.

Dr. Hesla is hands down the best optometrist Calgary has to offer! Not only is he knowledgeable and professional- he is amazing with children. My 3 small children were able to be in the room at the same time for their appointment. He told jokes and kept them entertained throughout the whole appointment, while educating them on their eyes. This Dr is every mothers dream!

Dr. Hesla is beyond professional and extremely thorough, explains everything so you understand. You are not a number at his clinic, but a person who he takes time with Highly recommend him 100%. His staff are amazing, from reception, technician and optometrist.
