I knew Dr. Hesla was an exceptional eye doc but after reading through his reviews I feel privileged to be his patient. Keep up the great work doc and see you in a few weeks.

Dr. Hesla has been an angel to our family. He saw my mother last year on an emergency basis and found a retinal detachment. The specialist said she could have lost her vision if he hadn’t referred so quickly. We are all so thankful for his quick action.

Dr. Hesla is very professional and did a good job at curing my dry eye problem. Eventually, he sent me to a specialist to help but I appreciate that he was willing to send a referral on my behalf. The outcome is that I rarely have an issue with my dry eyes now - maybe once or twice a year versus every day. I would recommend Dr. Hesla 100%!

Had another great visit with Dr. Hesla a few months ago. I had cataracts and he referred me to a specialist a few years ago. The outcome was better than expected and the resolution was fairly quick.

We saw Dr. Hesla after reading some reviews on the Lake Bonavista Facebook group. My son was having issues reading the whiteboard in class and we knew there was an issue. Our prior optometrist said there was nothing wrong but we knew there was. Dr. Hesla found the problem and corrected it with glasses. I am so thankful because my son can read again and his teacher also commented that he is much more focussed in the classroom now. We have since transferred all of our patient files to his clinic.
