Dr. Hesla has been our optometrist for 12 years. We recently saw him at his temporary clinic within DOIG Optometry on Macleod Trail and had another great experience. The staff was wonderful and helped me find some new frames that I love.

I recently saw Dr. Aaron Hesla following a referral from my specialist. Dr. Hesla is easy to talk to and he really knows his stuff. I have a complex eye condition and I’m thankful to have this new optometrist that understands my condition and can help monitor my future eye care.

Tried to book my annual appointment with Dr. Hesla at Mayfair, and he no longer works at that clinic. Found him on google and looks like he moved to the DOIG optometry. He is very good doctor and I am glad I can book with him. I am posting this review so others find him.

Great optometrist and my family won’t see anyone else. Highly recommend him if you have a complex eye issue. He is quick to find a solution or refer to a specialist.

Dr. Hesla is simply the best! I was referred to him by a friend a few years ago and he has helped me immensely. My prior optometrist could never figure out the issue and some minor adjustments made a significant difference for me, and my migraines are rarely an issue now. I highly recommend Dr. Hesla.

I saw Dr. Hesla over the summer. I advised him of my vision concerns. I've had to have the glasses remade 3 times. It was only after I saw another optometrist that we realized the prescription he gave me was incorrect and I didn't need a computer lens but a transition lens to help me see at all distances. He was not very helpful and make this process quite stressful on me. Would highly go somewhere else.

I first saw Dr. Aaron Hesla two years ago when Dr. Penny was out of the office. Both doctors are excellent but knowing that Dr. Penny intends to retire over the next few years, I plan to continue seeing Dr. Hesla at this wonderful clinic.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Hesla for many years now and I’m always when I leave. His appointments are professional and educational and I always leave with a smile on my face. The clinic itself is nice and the product array is quite extensive. Thank you Dr. Hesla for everything you do for your patients.

Dr. Hesla is a very kind and compassionate eye doctor. As a senior, he always takes extra time to examine my eyes and explain everything to me. I enjoy my visits with Dr. Hesla and I will continue to see him.

As a First Nations person who attended residential school, I found Dr. Hesla to be very understanding of my culture and the negative experiences I had while at school. I found him to be very thorough and compassionate throughout my exam . I would definitely refer Dr. Hesla to other Indigenous people. 👍
