Has too many patients and doesn’t appear to have the time and resources to manage them all effectively. Bit of a weekly or fortnightly “churn” with very short appointments during which he always appears distracted. Would not be my first choice for a Psychiatrist as he is now at a point in his career where he is in practice to bolster up his retirement revenue.

I disagree with these bad reviews. Yes, he's not very punctual but that is only because he is so very busy and works so extremley hard. He has really helped me and has been so helpful. After suffering for so many years. He is the only doctor to correctly diagnose me and actually help

I saw him for years- he almost killed me. He uses blanket treatment for every patient no matter their problem. Medication- happy. Disrespectful of every one of his patients, that’s when he bothered to see them- and inpatients only saw him for max 5 mins after they’d lined up for hours, if he didn’t run out of time. Most of treatment methods he used were not done correctly. No confidentiality- talked openly about other patients, including names, often negatively to me. In it to line his pockets- he isn’t in the practice of helping patients improve, he wants their $$ for many years

I have been a patient of Dr Foxcroft for approx ten years. Yes he does run late, but that is because he is passionate about helping his patients. At times we have butted heads, but that was when i was being stubborn and was too ill to accept treatment at the time. Foxcroft is the only doctor who has never given up on me and helped me to see that recovery IS possible. We have built up a good theraputic relationship and i feel safe to disclose to him about my struggles and trauma. Without him managing my care and treatment, i would not be alive today. I highly recommend you see Dr Foxcroft as he is the best in the state for treating eating disorders and trauma.

The worst part of seeing Dr Foxcroft were the negative reviews that I read prior to my visit. As a long term PTSD, anxiety and depression sufferer I have seen maybe more my share of medical professionals. Dr Foxcroft is knowledgeable, precise and seeks all the facts. I found him communicative, receptive to questions and in his conclusion of my visit he summed up my situation and diagnosis better and more accurately than I expected. The reason for the long wait to see him was clear to me when I left- while I was with him he was not time conscious and at no point did I feel rushed or under pressure to speed up (good for me and any patient with him however not for patients waiting) hence the wait - seems a fair trade off to me! Keep up the good work Doc, It's special people that can hear in a day, a week, a year what you hear and remain so focused on healing.

I was ADF many years ago and he helped me realise something was wrong. I was put on Larium -Mefloquine anti malarial pills on a deployment and they destroyed me. Similar I had too much pride to think anything was wrong with me and thought my strange behaviour was just due to the lack of sleep on deployment. He is very good at his job which is why the ADF uses him. I feel for those who have not had adf support for an illness and believe that their reviews all pinned on whether their condition was accepted or not.

Dr malcolm foxcroft wrote a military medical report for the DVA on my behalf, on the report he wrote not to be released to patient. Many years later I was able to finally view the report. The lies and information he wrote in his report had nothing to do with my server depression and anxiety he managed to have me medically discharged with no liability excepted from the military. The info that was in the report wasn't obtained from me, it was obtained from third party's. After reading previous comments on him I'm not the only person this has happened to. If referred to him, run the other way. He has made my life very difficult with his lies. I still suffer today from my military service with no support financially because of the report he wrote. ADF MEMBERS STAY CLEAR.

If you want a man who knows his stuff, won't take any rubbish and will work through things with you - see Malcolm. If you want a yes man or someone to hold your hand - are someone else.
Look, the man has time management issues. Big deal. Just call an hour or so before your appointment... if he's late, tell the receptionist that you'll come in a bit later so you're not waiting there. The man is worth your time.
