Dr. Eveleigh is just as these reviews say. I lucked into seeing him when I was a student at OttawaU, and I have truly and deeply missed having him as my doctor since I moved away from Ottawa. As a young female, it's a very common experience for a GP to make you feel that your questions are silly, or your body and mind are unruly, or that you don't know why they have made a certain health choice for you. Dr. Eveleigh was so thorough and validating, and so wonderfully critically thinking about health-seeking behaviours and big pharma and the evidence base. He has incredible communication skills, took the time to explain what my symptoms suggested to him, ALL of my treatment options and the pros and cons of each, and he made gentle recommendations, and carefully stated his reasoning for why they were the most right for my specific situation -- SO thoughtful. He even picked up on some subtle body language and kindly inquired what it meant. I don't think I'll find another doctor like this one, but I feel truly fortunate to have experienced such profound quality care at all.

Fantastic doctor! He really listens to the patient and comes up with a range of possible solutions, taking the patient's lifestyle, concerns, preferences, etc. into consideration. Very thorough and smart but also very kind, gentle, and takes the time to explain.

Such a great doctor! He performed my IUD insertion and is truly amazing. He makes sure you understand everything and answers any questions. He is kind and patient, and you can tell he cares about his patients. During the procedure, he talked me through the steps and made sure I was doing alright afterwards. Two days after the procedure, he called me and asked how I was doing. He is very knowledgeable and he puts you at ease. I look forward to my follow up with him!

I just got my first IUD, and Dr. Eveleigh was amazing. He was on time, took the time to answer all my questions, was very kind, and I did not feel any pain whatsoever, just some pressure. He also has a fine sense of humor and made me laugh when I was nervous about getting the procedure. I would highly recommend him. My best friend got her IUD with him too and had a very positive experience as well.

Always takes time to explain. Never judgmental. Always kind. I have yet to experience a health concern that he didn't have the answer for and take the time to help me understand.

He was my family's doctor in Peterborough during the 90's. Even tho he went to Dork University (look at the lettering) he was fantastic. I now work for an Oncologist in Calgary and remember him fondly. I'm glad he has such a following in Ottawa.

Had him insert an IUD as he is an expert at it. This is the kind of doctor who will sit down, explain from A to Z the procedure, the risks and benefits-- everything! He is so approachable, kind, soft and knowledgable. Highly, highly, highly recommend him. I wish he was my family doctor!

Excellent MD, the reason he is always behind in his schedule is that he takes his time with patients and does not rush anyone. Blessed to have him as my family doctor.

Dr. Eveleigh has been my Dr. for over 20 years. He is compassionate and takes time to listen and educate.
