Dr. John provided me with a number of Physio Therapy suggestions and to do Botox for my headaches. I would have liked him to have not been as quick and taken more time on all my disabilities causing the pain not focus on just the headaches.

Dr. John seems to prescribe the same treatment for all patients (I've heard). It became apparent that he had prematurely decided what my issues were and how they were going to be treated. I didn't appreaciate that he wasn't willing to look at me and my situation as an individual. I saw him a second time to indicate that his nethods were not working and asked for a more realistic personalized approach-he wasn't prepared to listen. he told me to do more of that he initially prescribed(6 months prior)and give it more time. For somebody who is in excruciating pain 24/7 a more immediate and realistic approach is needed. The treatment cannot be worse than the illness - otherwise what is the point! The wait times between appointments were incredibly long and unrealistic. He may help some people - but others need somebody with a more comprehensive approach to medicine. He was nice enough-just not doctoring enough-he needs to have a bigger vision of medicine. One TX does not fit all!

One of the most knowledgable and empathetic doctors I have ever met. I sought out his help for neurological pain down both legs...he was the only doctor in the area who was able to measure my nerve damage and the only one who was interested in helping me survive the pain. He lobbied WSIB to pay for very expensive Botox treatments. Without him, this never would have happened. This is a doctor who really goes to bat for you...he offers appropriate meds, exercises, and helpful hints that help those who deal with pain everyday of their lives to cope. I truly don't know where I'd be without him. Thank you, Dr. John! :)
