Biography

I am a comprehensive eye care specialist specializing in the medical and surgical care of eye disease. I am a strong believer in preventive care, and appreciate the connection between systemic medical conditions and eye disease. I have 26 years of experience practicing ophthalmology in Maryland and have a wonderful caring staff to help me carry out my mission. I am a good listener and will focus on solving your particular problem. I specialize in the latest techniques in cataract surgery, using laser and advanced technology intraocular lenses. My office has state of the art equipment for diagnosing and treating eye disease, including new treatments for dry eye disease and blepharitis, two of the most common eye problems causing irritation, redness and blurred vision. I work with two other ophthalmologists and an optometrist to ensure someone is available at all times. We do see same day emergencies.
