A doctor or a magician? Why not both? He diagnosed my daughter in about 2 minutes what a slew of doctors could not figure out for 6 years. She really hates her skin issue but he made her feel confident that it could be fixed and even gave us fun suggestions that would encourage her being involved in the maintenance. You can really feel the love he has for his craft, and his knowledge and compassion are evident the moment he walks in the exam room.

Dr. Lam is kind, patient, and listens well. He is excellent with children and takes the time to thoroughly explain things to the parents. Highly recommended.

Dr. Joseph Lam is the best dermatologist ever I would totally recommend him!!

A perfect score does not do justice for Dr. Lam either as a man or a dermatologist. My daughter has a rare disorder called basal carcinoma cell nevus syndrome and has had carcinomas since she was a small child. Dr. Lam spent hours answering questions and advocated for Michelle getting her access to imiquimod, the best drug, even though the pharmacare formulary was behind the times. Michelle's had many good specialists but Dr. Lam is in a class of his own.

Dr Lam has been such a delight! He’s very accommodating and has supported us fully and wholeheartedly throughout our journey of treating my child’s skin condition. Dr Lam is extremely patient and is the first Doctor my child is excited to see. He explains everything on a level everyone can understand and makes sure you’re aware of all options available.
