Thanks Dr. Monica for your help with my mother’s skin. She lived at a time when sunbathing was part of normal life, and you’ve helped our family keep an eye on her skin so that the skin cancers she has is taken care of and removed. We really appreciate all your expertise and patience.

I have nothing but praise for Dr. Monica in her care of my daughter with severe eczema. We had seen several other doctors in the past, including an older skin doctor, who was curt, impatient and spent all of 2 minutes talking to us making next to no eye contact.

Dr. Monica took the time to answer all of our questions about eczema, actually clarified some of our misunderstandings about the condition. She offered solutions, initially with prescription steroid and steroid-free creams, offered light treatment but we cannot bring our daughter that often to her clinic, then moved on to Dupixent. I really appreciate her gradual approach, clearly showing she cares about my daughter and the likelihood she needs to be on some kind of eczema medications for a very long time, and being mindful of this.

She is approachable, and returns our queries to the clinic always , quickly, and I know she is a very busy doctor.

I see she does lots of talks and not surprised she’s so popular as a teacher. On a few visits, she had a medical student with her from the university, and when Dr. Monica left the room, the students raved to me how she has great bedside manners and genuinely cares to teach. It speaks a lot of the values of this doctor to hear this.

There’s always two sides to every story, and it makes me upset to see how others here seem to have a skewed impression of Dr. Monica. I won’t further comment on other patients and their experiences, but I can say she is a top notch doctor in her care of my daughters eczema, and has turned her life around - much better sleep, almost no itch, and the confidence and comfort her medical recommendations have done to improve my daughters quality of life.

So thank you Dr. Monica, and don’t let the few affect how you treat so many patients so competently and well. Our family is lucky to have you as our skin doctor.

Fantastic doctor, hands down the best specialist I’ve had so far. She takes care of my family and I for our various skin concerns. I see Monica for lasers and Botox, my son sees her for eczema and my husband sees her for skin tags and rashes from time to time. She’s patient, thorough, and approachable, and actually listens unlike most doctors I’ve encountered. She looks like she’s 20 (she says it’s her Asian genes which I’m jealous!) but she’s a wealth of knowledge and experience. I would not hesitate to recommend her to friends and family.

I don’t usually leave reviews plus I don’t have time as a physician. However, I’m more than happy to share my experiences having been under the care of Dr. Li for the past four years. I’ve undergone Botox treatments, filler injections and Picoway laser treatments with her. I have to say I have been nothing but so pleased with the results. Dr. Li is measured, patient, knowledgeable and conservative - all approaches to care that I want for the specialist working on my face. She’s not about quick, one-time visits, pushing for as much as possible, but conceptualizes beauty and improving signs of aging as a marathon. I trust her implicitly and have recommended her to my family, friends and colleagues.

Dr. Li is a fantastic dermatologist who has helped me lots with my acne. She explains her advice in detail, and I feel genuinely cares about me as a person. She’s patient, updated, and kind. I fly in to see Dr. Monica twice a year since four years ago, and she has not disappointed me. She’s smart, experienced, kind and thorough. Thanks to Dr. Li, my son’s acne has cleared, making both him and I so happy. He took a course of Accutane under her care, which other doctors have offered to my son in the past. But what makes Dr. Li wonderful is she takes the time to talk about how acne develops, how to prevent breakouts, and also about skincare to help his acne. My son doesn’t listen to me half the time so it’s pretty remarkable he follows Dr. Li’s instructions to the T! In any case, I appreciate all that she has done for him (and to my relief!).

Dr Li has been doing my Botox and filler treatments for the past four years. She's artistic, careful, gentle and precise, and the results speak for themselves. Actually, only I know her work because not family or friends know I get work done! I trust her a lot and have sent over my best friend and sister in law to see her. I see Dr. Li for acne and she’s transformed my skin. I had so many breakouts in the past that weren’t controlled well despite seeing my family doctor and two walk in doctors. It was extremely frustrating. Dr Li is kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. I appreciated that she listened to me and my skin concerns. I’ve recommended her to a number of my friends and coworkers who have been looking for a skin doctor to help them with their skin needs.
