I had this idiot as my doctor. He is a liar, and you are really risking your safety by having him treat you. His receptionist - wife wasn't much better.

After 16 years under Dr Prowacki with numerous diagnoses and medications that in the main were ineffective plus 22 admissions to Belmont Private, I was finally diagnosed correctly by a psychiatrist in 2016 as having Bipolar 11 Disorder and received the appropriate medication. So many wasted years that I'll never get back.

Over the last 12 years I have found Dr Prowacki to be an exceptional psychiatrist. He is very caring and empathetic. Dr Prowacki advised me to have ECT many years ago and I refused. I finally came to the conclusion on my own to have it this year. His advice has helped me incredibly over the years and medication he has prescribed has worked very well. If I had not been taking this medication I’m sure I would be in a very bad way. Thank you Dr Prowacki for your brilliance.

Very helpful Dr. He helped me learn a lot about myself and work out my medications that no other doctors had been able to do. He has a friendly and approachable attitude.

So glad I got away from him. Over medicated and far too much ECT. I felt my life was at risk with this Doctor. The public system was much more helpful and less harmful. I am alive because I dumped Dr Prowacki as my Dr.

Dr Prowacki is the best Psychiatrist in Brisbane. He is thoughtful and incredibly thorough. He is literally a life savour and my partner and i are so grateful to have found him. I could not recommend him and his team highly enough.

This doctor has helped me recover from a serious illness and has significantly improved my life which I am very thankful for. Very impressed with his clarity in communication and thoroughness in treating me. Honestly very grateful to have been referred to such a great psychiatrist.

Far too quick to suggest ECT. Constantly changed medication regime before previous medication had been given a chance. He does not seem to understand the concept of informed consent. The most prone to over-medicating that I have ever encountered.
