Very bad sleep specialist. Unprofessional. Incompetent. After treating me for sleep issues over five years he told me the problem was in my mind.

Arrogant, egotistical, unprofessional doctor who totally screwed up. I saw Dr. Fleming for two years initially for a sleep disorder. He totally missed my diagnosis of Panic Disorder, refused medications for my anxiety disorder until I was suicidal and had to BEG for them, nd then kept refusing to prescribe benzodiazpenes which are totally considered appropriate, necessary and life-saving. I finally left and my next psychiatrist and internist said he should be reported to the licensing College for malpractice as his care was so bad. I didn't, but I sure wish I did as I'm still being told because he so badly managed my care, I"m likely to have anxiety the rest of my life.

I saw this so called physician many years ago. I spent two nights in his clinic and afterwards the technician told me I had been hooked up to a faulty monitor. I thought little of it and thought the Dr must have known what he was doing. I accepted this doctors diagnosis of minimal sleep apnea.. However, he concealed from me that he had written a psychiatric profile of me and sent it to my doctor. My health complaints consequently were not taken seriously. I was treated by my doctor as a hypocondriac, without him ever saying that was his opinion, until confronted many years later. Meanwhile real medical issues were ignored. I would have been better off seeing a witch doctor than that fool. It took me years to start getting my health issues on track. Fckg devious bstrds.

This doctor is well-intending but is a terrible physician in many ways. He is very rigid in his thinking and very authoritarian. He is not up to date on the diagnosis and treatment of common problems like anxiety and depression. He is also not up to date any more on treatment of sleep disorders. He is rather cold and not very compassionate. I would never recommend anyone to see him.

Seemed like an intelligent fellow, but very hard to connect with. He totally discounted what I believe was a critical symptom in my sleep disorder. After a prolonged period of taking pills, which did absolutely nothing to help, I stopped seeing him. My sleep condition is worse than ever now, and I have no idea where to turn. Very disappointed. Needs to start 'thinking outside the box ( stop relying so heavily on pharmaceuticals)

I became aquainted with Dr Fleming through the sleep disorders clinic at UBC Hospital. Dr. Fleming helped me through many stressful episodes in my life from career difficulties to family problems concerning both a troubled son and a Father suffering from dimentia in his final years. Both career challenges and family disasters have resulted in long episodes of sleep difficulty. I found Dr Fleming to be kind, understanding and incredibly patient. His wise counsel and prescription management allowed me to get through the worst of times and to be able to persue a career change from my stressful teaching job on the coast to one more of my liking in the Prince George / Vanderhoof area. I very much miss Dr. Fleming and wish him well in retirement. I can't help but give him the highest recommendation.

A physician I hold in highest regard. Dr. Fleming's expertise and insight set him above the fray. I count myself fortunate to have benefited from his care, which I consider to be the finest available.
