Don't waste your time with this one! Arrogant, unavailable, and truly disappointing.
My daughter was seen in Elliot Lake by this person. My daughter is suffering from a painful ear and jaw problem and was referred to this person who refused to speak with her, and summarily dismissed my daughter's case, why? I was later told by her secretary that she doesn't deal with my daughter's issue and there was nothing she could do for her. Now, what? after 3 month's treatment of antibiotics prescribed by the GP she is still in pain and is still looking for help, we are now talking over a year and we still are nowhere. This is health care in Ontario!

I was enormously impressed with Dr. Anderson from the start: rather than an intern doing the initial exam, Dr. Anderson examined me and was very reassuring about the success of the parathyroidectomy I was to have. She's very knowledgeable and a highly skilled surgeon. The surgery was a great success and the scar disappeared very fast. If you're referred to Dr. Anderson, thank your lucky stars!

Unfortunately, my experience with this doctor was horrible. She walked in, was almost annoyed we were there, like we were wasting her time. My dad has been having a hard time speaking and swallowing, and she had him talk for a couple minutes, went to her computer and started muttering under her breath that she couldn't help him and that he has ALS without even testing him out. Whether or not my father has ALS, no one deserves to hear news like that the way she delivered it. My poor dad was like, what's ALS, and I was trying to tell him they will tell us when we go to the referral clinic, only because I didn't want Dr. Anderson delivering the news in a heartless way. I know all doctors go through a lot, and their stress is probably overwhelming, but we are still humans. A little bit of compassion goes a long way. This is not how you treat patients.

Dr. Anderson is a true professional and very skilled. Her staff is amazing too. I've seen at least 5 ENT's in my life and she is by far the best.

I had parathyroid surgery done by Dr. Anderson. she is totally careless. I have cardiac history and I was discharged out of hospital hours after surgery only to develop atrial fibulation less than 12 hours later. Going to ER only complicated matters more because the ER Dr. had no idea why I was in Atrial Fib!!! after sitting in ER for the next 8 hrs. under supervision he sent me home with my heart racing still and a prescription for more blood pressure meds!!! HELP! Dr. Anderson was not available, ever! I called my endocrinologist who told me to go back to the ER and she would call in the treatment for (hyperthyroidism) which developed during parathyroid surgery after my parathyroid gland was roughly handled and dumped the hormone into my bloodstream causing the hyperthyroid/atrial fib.!! Thank God for the endocrinologist! What a mess! I felt totally deserted. Shame!

Fantastic Surgeon! She performed my partial thyroidectomy in February this year and the healing was seamless - A small scar and zero complications.
This was my first surgery ever and everyone who attended to me knew how scared I was. However, Dr. Anderson and her medical team were very reassuring and provide me with the best care and service.
