Dr. Buczkowski is caring an knowledgeable. My situation involved a small but bothersome cycst in my elbow. He did not brush me off because the problem wasn't an acute emergency. He told me the pros and cons, told me think about surgery first and was available any time. I was so appreciative of his honesty and support.

Avoid at all costs. Dr. Buczkowsi's work caused the need for 5 follow up surgeries to correct the initial blunder. I went into his office on two separate occasions to tell him that I thought something was wrong and he was dismissive. Had the problem stemming from his initial surgery been caught earlier it would have been a much easier fix. He charged for a more expensive surgery by a similar name and even admitted his mistake as he was on call in the hospital where I received the first of 5 follow up surgeries. Multiple surgeons have scoffed when I tell them who performed the initial surgery one even going out of their way to take me into their care instead of having me put back on his roster.

Had a liver transplant with Dr. Andrzej Buczkowski 8 years ago, saving my life. I cannot thank Dr. Buczkowski enough for his kindness, help, and phenomenal work. I will recommend him over and over again and do not have the words to express his brilliance, care and compassion throughout. Like so many, Dr B saved my life. I had an abdominal surgery where the bowel was perforated and either not completely repaired, or not repaired adequately, and after 3+ days of being treated as drug seeking, and having an xray showing free air, be completely dismissed by the radiologist as 'trans-abdominal fat', I wound up septic with necrotizing fasciitis. The Dr prior to Dr B told my 12 year son to say good bye because I was going to die, thankfully that did not happen, and as I approach the 11 year anniversary of the initail fiasco, I am so eternally grateful that Dr B was on call the night I had to be rushed to the operating room. It was complicated and no-one really knew what would happen over the next few weeks of ICU and repeated surgeries, but eventually it became clear that he had basically been able to perform a miracle.
This was a terrifying time for my entire family, and myself when I was eventually woken up, and having Dr B as my care provider was the best possible situation as he's brilliant, but also his demeanor and obvious care and concern made the situation as close to good as was possible.

Dr Buczkowski is a top surgeon. He was my surgeon in January, 2020. I had a gallbladder surgery. He made me feel safe , cared for and comfortable. He and his team are all great professionals and experts in their fields. Office staff is very polite, helpful and organized . My experience is all 5's.
