This doctor was amazing to me in emergency. I wish she could be my fam doctor

I saw Dr. Roberta in the ER and she was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to listen, she was so thorough, went above and beyond and had a great bedside manner. I felt lucky have been her care that evening.

I've encountered this Dr several times now and every time has ended badly. The first time, I had strep throat and she ordered a throat x ray to rule out epiglotitis. Strep is pretty recognizable so it should have been an easy diagnosis. It was improperly treated because there was no swab done. This resulted in many further issues. The second time I saw her at urgent care and instead of just ordering a CT scan at the hospital, she requested an ultrasound. I then had to be admitted for 3 days while waiting for a CT. If she had just ordered it in the first place, the wait could have been avoided. The most recent visit to the ER resulted in a 6.5hr wait, watching her walk past me several times and never being seen. I could have kept waiting but needed to get back to my kids. Let's hope there's nothing too serious wrong with me!

I received a covid vaccine today and Dr Eby gave me the shot and she was great. When I asked about my son and a possible allergy she was quick to investigate for me and called an allergist to find out more info for me, without me asking for anything. She is wonderful!

Recently during the COVID-19 pandemic my wife was instructed to get a coronavirus test at St. Joseph's Urgent Care in East Hamilton, he also suggested she follow up with an ER visit due to her congestion. Dr. Eby immediately order chest x-rays and was very considerate of my wife's fears she might have COVID. After receiving the x-ray results and performing a thorough exam Dr. Eby placed her on a 7 day course of medication and told her that it was unlikely my wife had contracted COVID. Everything turned out great and thanks to Dr. Eby for her compassion.
