What can I say about someone who literally saved my life? I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma with 90% cancer cells in my blood in 2019. Dr. G gave me hope and cutting edge treatment. It was such a shock to have cancer but Dr. G and the staff are very kind and you get to know them and even joke with them as you get your chemo right there in the offices. If there is any issue, Dr.G comes down to check on you, so the access to him and his expertise is amazing. I feel very lucky to have found Dr.G and to be in remission from MM by following his advice.

Doctor Alec Goldenberg treated my wife Barbara for Multiple Myeloma for 16 years from 1997-2013 when God called her home.

He has been treating me for Myelodysplasia Syndrome (MDS) for 4 years from June 2018 to the present.

His sincere dedication to his patients has not changed. He is more than an outstanding doctor. He is one who sincerely cares for his patients.

Further, his entire staff of nurses, blood technicians and office personnel reflect his professionalism and concern for his patients.

I am 83 years old now and was 79 when I was first diagnosed with MDS in 2018. I’ve also had some heart issues. During this time Dr. Goldenberg treated my MDS while giving full consideration to the heart issues.

Furthermore, he has never failed to return a phone call when I had a question or was concerned about anything. My experience during visits to the office are totally comforting and reassuring, thanks to Dr. Goldenberg and his staff.

I have been blessed to have him as my primary doctor for MDS and for the 16 years that he treated my wife for Multiple Myeloma.

I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending him to anyone as the best oncologist/hematologist, who truly cares for his patients.

It is my pleasure to render this tribute to Dr. Goldenberg.

Dr. Goldenberg is an excellent, top-notch physician; he literally saved my life. I have been his patient since 2007, and currently continue under his expert care. Dr. Goldenberg has given me both more time and well-being, and now that I am a newly minted grandmother, I am more profoundly grateful than I ever could have imagined.

I met Dr. Goldenberg in 1994 after surviving an internal bleed and surgery for non-Hodgins Lymphoma tumor in my stomach. He was thoughtful and kind as he explained his proposed treatment and approach to my after-care. I have the upmost confidence in his medical decisions, recommendations and emotional support. I continue to see him with his on-going surveillance of me, a 25+ year Cancer survivor.

I still vividly remember Dr. Goldenberg's words to me when he reviewed my suddenly haywire blood results with me: "This could be caused by a couple of things. Either way, we're going to fix it." That supportive approach colored my own outlook into a confidence that helped me tolerate a few months of physical debilitation until, wonder of wonders, it all got fixed. I imagine that Dr. Goldenberg has other patients whose prognosis is not so rosy as mine was, and I further imagine that his compassion supports them in a way that they might not find elsewhere. I also have to add that the entire staff, from the phlebotomists, to the receptionists, to nurses and assistants are all remarkably attentive - When I walk in the door I feel like I am among friends.

I'm quoting another doctor who called Dr. Goldenberg, "a genius who will do anything to help his patients." And I completely agree. I am a patient with lymphoma, lucky enough to be in remission after his treatment worked. My partner has myeloma and has responded in record time to his treatments. It's such a relief to have a doctor who is so knowledgeable and caring. Without hesitation, I would refer anyone with a hematological problem to see him. One of the reasons why the appointments can run late is that Dr. Goldenberg is also extremely busy on the phone, following up with other doctors who read scans, with patients who are hospitalized, his own nurses, and other specialists. He works tirelessly behind the scenes, and you may not realize how much he is doing for you.
