Dr Nezhat is an amazing surgeon. He removed my endometriosis two weeks ago. I barely had any pain after and the incisions are small and healed well, He is also very caring and patient. I felt very confident at ease with him. I highly recommend Dr, Nezhat.

Dr. Farr Nezhat performed a laparoscopic procedure to remove my stage 4 endometriosis. Absolutely golden hands. After a 4-hour surgery, my recovery was 2 days. I haven't felt the excruciating endo pain in almost a year now. Absolutely the best in every way

Dr. Nezhat is wonderful. He changed my life and gave us the opportunity to complete our family. He did what no one thought could be done...he repaired my uterus from damage from prior c sections and here we are, celebrating our son's 1st birthday 2 years post opt. We love you Dr. Nezhat. My experience with Dr Farr Nezhat was absolutely fabulous. I came from Ecuador and he help me get my appointment very fast in his busy schedule . My surgery and the following visits were treated with the upmost professionalism , skill, compassion , and kindness. Thanks to him I recovered from my surgery very well. Dr. Nezhat is by far the best Dr. I have every been to both with regard to his knowledge/skill and the way he treats his patients. I have severe endometriosis and there are doctors who will not operate on me. Dr. Nezhat has operated on me twice in the last 10 years. This last time recently I not only took time to find him as I had moved out of the area and he had changed offices, but I traveled 1.5 hours each way for surgery and follow-up. When I came to him this last time I was in pain, extremely stressed out, and struggling to make a decision on a course of action surgically. He was kind, patient, understanding, willing and able to engage in a lengthy discussion about my options and the pros and cons of each option, and most importantly did not try to force me into a decision for his own convenience but instead let me process all the information at hand and make a decision that not only worked for me but with which he was also comfortable. It was obvious that he was up on the latest research and techniques and that he was confident in his abilities to help me feel better. On the day of my surgery, he was there first thing talking to me and my family before surgery w/ his staff, he found my family in the cafeteria post surgery to personally let them know all was well as surgery went longer than anticipated, and he was there in the recovery room twice. From initial office visit to post surgery follow up he and his staff were thorough, patiently answered questions and treated me with the utmost respect. I also want to give kudos to Winthrop Hospital Ambulatory Surgery. All of their staff were friendly, patient, kind, introduced themselves by name before doing anything to or with me and explained their role. This made a huge impact on my anxiety level. Because he is up on the latest surgical techniques, despite the amount of "work" he had to do on me, he was able to do robot-assisted, laparoscopy, which made the healing process smoother for me. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Nezhat.

This doctor, Dr. Farr Nezhat, was probably the best surgeon I could have asked for. I was referred by my OBGYN, Dr. John Paciuc, who can only be described as one of the best in his field, after the discovery of 2 fibroid tumors, one of which was the size of an orange, and causing me intense medical problems. I am perimenopausal, and spent the better part of 2013 bleeding as if hemorrhaging, dangerously anemic, and terrified beyond belief. This experience was drastic and rapidly getting worse by the week. I am a very active person, both socially and professionally (I have been a Chef in NY for 24 years), and was deteriorating rapidly until I met this marvelous physician, Dr. Nezhat. His reputation as a pioneer in the field of laparoscopy precede him. It is an ongoing scientific process which has had it's critics, but I am the granddaughter of two prominent physicians, and know what I'm talking about. This man has incredible bedside manner, which is of the utmost importance, especially when one is as ill as I was. He speaks frankly yet calmly. He looks you in the eyes as if you were his only patient. You get the hands-down impression upon first meeting him that he not only is knowledgeable, but confident (not cocky) about what he is saying. He is a master in his field, no doubt about it. When I had my procedure, he had several residents in tow, observing and learning from his work with what turned out to be a hysterectomy for me. When introduced to them, I remember telling them to "watch and learn." They informed me of their excitement in witnessing Dr. Nezhat's work, and how fortunate they were to have been chosen to be by his side during my procedure. I knew, without question, that I was in the best possible hands. I write this comment for everyone today as a fully recovered, ecstatic woman, with this magnificent man to thank for my new lease on life. Should you need help in the field in which he works, do NOT hesitate to choose this exemplary medical professional as your physician of TOP choice. I simply cannot thank him and his team enough. There are no words. God bless you, Dr. Farr Nezhat. I'll be forever grateful, and will recommend you to EVERYONE I know with the all-too-common symptoms that plagued me. You're THE best.

Dr. Nezhat is a lifesaver! He operated on me in December 2012. (My second surgery with him.). I had the robotic hysterectomy with an amazingly short recovery. He is so respectful, caring and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him to anyone. Be patient though, I waited in his office for him many times and he is definitely worth the wait! I literally put my life in his hands and would do it again if necessary. I Thank God for him! He is the best!
