Dr Inouye has been taking care of me for GI issues for over ten years. I can never expect a doctor who is more caring and knowledgeable than him.

I really do not understand the great reviews for this doctor. My experience has been that he seems lazy and uninterested. He may be polite and soft-spoken but I need a helpful doctor. Maybe it is as another person has posted here: this doctor likes the expensive procedures. What I needed was a doctor who was willing to help me deal with the pain and get as well as I can be. That is not Dr. Inouye.

I had an endoscopy. I found Dr. Inouye very helpful, informative, and a thoroughly nice man. I will go back to him if the circumstances warrant follow ups.

Dr. Inouye provides world-class care. He gives space to hear my concerns and validates what I'm going through. He is very thorough and caring. He is trustworthy and honest. He goes above and beyond to make sure no stone is left unturned. He cares about my progress and well-being. Brenda (admin) is very caring and kind. I'm very grateful to be in Dr. Inouye's care.

I will give him credit that I am not straightforward but after my case became too complex for him, he discharged me and told me to get off a medication that has been keeping me going and that my dr can always refer me again if something else came up. When he did my endoscopy he didn't remember what my reason for the scope was, and our appts were very short. He didn't listen to me when I gave my input in his treatment plans and I am now stuck waiting another 2+ years for another GI who hopefully will not dismiss me because I am too complicated for him.
