Dr. Hegmann has been our family doctor for three generations.
He listens and addresses medical issues early on before they become a serious issue. He is extremely knowledgeable and will not give up until he finds the answers.
We feel so blessed to have him in our lives. He really is a miracle doctor!

Dr Hegmann has been my family doctor since he was in Manotick. I have been experiencing a number of issues as I get older. He is my "point man". Everything medical that happens to me, he knows about. All the specialists I need to deal with send a copy of their findings to him. He has the most complete file on me and I am grateful he is my GP. It is nice not having to repeat everything when you see a new doctor. I would be devastated if he was not there for me. The only receptionist (Dawn) I know in his office is always friendly and welcoming.

He is an easygoing intelligent Dr, who absolutely cares about his patients, is up to date on new procedures and medicines. He knows his stuff.

Quite disappointed after my last visit. This doctor is not very helpful.... He can be also arrogant.
It seems that the aesthetics business is more important than family medicine.

Very thorough in his medical knowledge, but distracted by the side-line of the aesthetics business, and he lacks bedside manner. I believe he has a financial interest in the walk in clinic in his building, where he also works. That might explain why others have been referred there. None of his staff have any medical training.
