I had a deformed hand from rheumatoid arthritis that was useless and painful. I saw Dr Axelrod and he explained in detail what he would do. I had very extensive reconstruction and he was so nice thru the whole healing and physic process. Five months later and I have a functional pain free normal looking hand. He is the best!!! Dr Axelrod is very nice and explains everything in detail. I was nervous for my surgery and he calmed all my nerves. It was truly amazing how he turned my arthritis ridden hand back to normal. Thankyou Dr Axelrod!!!!!

Dr. Axelrod was a pleasure, displays excellent bedside manner, is very efficient and highly knowledgeable yet still manages of sense of humour. He's a shining example of what a doctor or specialist should be! My wrist fracture involved extended follow-up care, then surgery. Amazingly left practically no scars which is a big deal on the inner wrist of my dominant hand. Thank you, Dr. Axelrod!

As a result of an accident I was involved in that included a city bus that crushed my skull (required brain surgery), I also suffered other injuries that included many broken bones, internal injuries, as well as several partial and full thickness tears of the tendons in both shoulders. I could barely lift my arms. I required the very sensitive, rotator cuff surgery. Not only was I blessed by the gifted brain surgeons that saved my life on the day of the accident, but I was blessed yet again by the talents of Dr. Terry Axelrod, an amazing surgeon that literally saved both of my shoulders, giving back to me, the use of my arms. Throughout the process and these extensive surgeries, he and his staff patiently advised me of my injuries, options, and made me feel very safe and protected. Anna, his secretary, is the best and was always so helpful. I can't thank him enough, and there is no possible way for me to repay Dr. Axelrod. How do I repay a man for giving back to me, the use of both of my arms? It's impossible, but he and his staff will always be in my prayers and I hope that they are always blessed with every goodness this life has to offer. As a proud Canadian, I'd like to say that we are so very lucky to have the these doctors, nurses, hospital/medical care that we have in this country. These caring professionals change and save lives everyday. I am living proof of this, and will forever be indebted and grateful to you, Dr. Axelrod, to your team, and to the many others working in our hospitals. With much respect, I Thank You....
