I have been a patient of Dr. Kagan's for about 12 years, and I have found him to be remarkably punctual for a doctor and very caring about me and my family. On a number of occasions he has telephoned me at home to discuss my concerns. Also, he is quite conscious of family and personal history when it comes to diagnosing me too. I am extremely happy to have him as my primary care provider.

I have been with Dr. Kagan for six years. I find him attentive, considerate and a persistent and effective diagnostician and problem solver. As he is much younger than I am, I take comfort in the knowledge that I will probably never have to find another GP. I would recommend Dr. K. very highly.

* He is sensitive about billing but if I tell the staff what I want to discuss beforehand then it is not a problem. He does an honest days work and should be compensated * The computer system helps him to keep on top of my stuff * He is gentle and careful, I have followed him for the last 10 years and have received good service. * In the last year I have had an unusual problem which I was referred to a specialist but the problem was not resolved. The specialist was a dingbat. * I would definitely recommend Dr. Kagan.

It took a number of visits to 'figure out' Dr. K. Over time I have come to understand that he is an efficient and straightforward medical practitioner. If you need a doctor to make you feel like they are your 'chum' then maybe he is not the right guy for you. I love going to see Dr K, as I feel that he tells it like it is, and does not sugar coat anything. He is interested in my health. I trust him with my kid implicitly. He is a great GP. His medical group ensures that I can see someone the same day in an emergency. It is fantastic.

Dr. Kagan can be kurt and abrasive - is very stand offish - he is very aware of billing and is unwilling to discuss more than one health issue at at time. A GP who is eager to forward you to a specialist - little follow up. Phone service at the office is attrocious.

Dr. Kagan is an amazing GP. I couldn't ask for a more caring, compassionate, helpful and attentive doctor. I have been going to him for several years and his committment to his profession and patients is continuously increasing. He always follows up and will even call you if you need him to. He is evidently a doctor because he likes helping people, not for the prestige or money (as I have seen with many other doctors). I look forward to many more years with Dr. Kagan.

I have been Dr. Kagan's patient for a number of years now and am very satisfied with his care. I actually like the computerized record keeping b/c I can see him adding my comments immediately, so I know they are kept on record and I don't feel like they are hidden from me b/c he always turns the monitor to me so we can both look at it together. He's very kind/patient; although I often have to wait an extra 10-15min, I never feel rushed when he's with me. He's also always pleased to see me and gives eye contact, which is important! I would recommend him highly, though as I understand it, he is not taking new patients anymore. I'm also glad that he's young b/c I'm hoping he'll be my doctor for many years to come.

Dr Kagan is a fine young physician. I've been with him now for about 3 years after losing my old GP due to retirement so I was lucky to get him. He's personable, attentive and listens well. I get frequent sports injuries and that's not his thing but he'll get you off to physio asap. I'm a bit of a challenge to him as I have genetic/hereditary conditions and we work together on them. He's non-judgemental and helpful. He's one of the better GPs I've had so I have no complaints about him at all. (C.B.)

I have been going to Hershel for a number of years and enjoy the treatment atmosphere. He is very professional but was quite inexperienced at first not able to immediately address concerns. However, he is improving and will likely become a fairly solid physician.
