I've been with Dr. Dargie for a very long time.Dr. Dargie was great, but I've found he is not addressing my underlying health issues. Made an appt? Sit and wait..that's normal. It appears if you suggest a course of action, he's not willing to listen. I once asked to see a chiro he said no, you need physio. I went anyway to both and chiro was very beneficial - physio did not give lasting benefit. When I returned to see Dargie some months later to let him know that chiro helped - more than physio, he said oh yes, I saw a chiropractor and it helped me too. No kidding.. In the appt do you feel like he's there to have a fireside chat and likes to hear himself talk? That's how I felt. Not really addressing your issues? Right or wrong, I knew I needed a specialist..I found a new doctor and am very happy with the treatment there. Once you leave you realize how bad the situation was...I'm glad I've moved on to another doctor. If he's working for you, great - he wasn't working for me.

Dr. Dargie has been my doctor for the past 20 years. He is caring and very competent. He has effectively managed my hypertension and Type II diabetes during that time.

My family has had him as a doctor for 15 years and was good for a long time. Now he has no time for us and in fact yelled at my son when he was just asking questions. He also rushes out the door without addressing all my concerns. He no longer is providing us with good health care. You can't go to him with your own ideas without his saying that, "just because you read it doesn't mean you have it" Well in our case we did have it. So we are no longer going to subject our family to that kind of treatment.

Simply the best. Listens carefully and will offer recommendations other than medication. Although can run late for appointments, I have never felt rushed out of the office. Thank you Dr Dargie--I wouldn't be here without you!!

Dr. Dargie has been very thorough on all my health issues. Often refers me to specialists to confirm his diagnosis. Does not over medicate. Communicates thoroughly on every issue, reassuring and explaining to my full satisfaction.

Excellent doctor. Found a leasion during a routine physical. Sent me to a specialist and was diagnosed with very early cancer. It was treated and have had no reoccurance. I found him to be very caring and easy to talk to. I have moved back to SK and although I have an excellent doctor here, I would recommend any one to Dr. Dargie who is looking for a family doctor.

He is very caring, very knowledgeable, and very compassionate, but he does not like to be told by the patient what to do. He should listen more to what some patients might have to say. But overall, I would not change to another doctor and I hope I never have to.
