I am very surprised that Dr. Kim has such a high rating. I have had appointments with him six times now and I do not find him to be very careful, empathetic, or knowledgeable. Knowledgeable. He seems more focused on getting you out of the room as quickly as possible. He also seems to be a bit of a pill pusher. Examples are sleeping pills, benzos, and antibiotics.

I am deeply dissatisfied with the level of care provided by Dr. Kim. As a patient seeking medical assistance for acute abdomen pain, I expected to receive thorough and attentive care. However, my experience with Dr. Kim fell far short of these expectations.
Upon arrival, I was met with a dismissive attitude from Doctor Kim, who failed to conduct a proper examination or even glance at my abdomen. Instead of addressing my concerns, he hastily suggested a diagnosis of shingles, despite there being no previous indication or evidence to support such a conclusion.
Furthermore, when I expressed my concerns and requested a referral for an ultrasound to explore other potential causes of my symptoms, such as hernia or kidney stones, he seemed reluctant and only complied after persistent insistence on my part.
The entire consultation lasted no more than five minutes, during which Kim appeared disengaged and uninterested in addressing my concerns. I will never be going back to Seton Medical clinic again and will strongly advise seeking medical care from other practitioners who demonstrate professionalism towards their patients.

Those of us who are fortunate enough to be a patient of Dr Kim’s are in care of one of the best Doctors anywhere. He genuinely cares about his patients, listens and always follow up on all details. He is extremely knowledgeable and if he is not sure about what was asked, he will research and find the answer.

Dr. Kim has been our family doctor for over 8 years. He is the best doctor I’ve ever dealt with. He listens and is very knowledgeable, he never rushes through an appointment and always asks if there’s any other health concerns. We are very lucky to have Dr. Kim as our family doctor.

Dr. Kim has been our family doctor since he was at his previous clinic. He is super thorough and respectful. Our family is so appreciate of his knowledge. Always goes above and beyond. So thankful to have found someone like him! The only downside - he is hard to get into because everybody loves him!
