He was my nephrologist for a longtime until I got my kidney transplant in August 2022. He's a very good doctor and helped me a lot. A doctor of few words but answers my concerns right to the point.

Dr Schorr has been my doctor for over 30 years. His attention to my
end stage kidney issues has been excellent.

Dr Schorr is a very knowledgeable doctor. He listens and answers all your questions . Mine was a very confusing diagnosis, but it was resolved with a good outcome.

Dr. Schorr was rude & dismissive to me from the get go, performed a rough examination, told me he couldn’t help me & sent me on my way. It was a waste of my time & health care dollars.

Dr. Schorr was my moms Nephrologist for approximately 30 years and there aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful, caring, compassionate and outstanding he is and the world needs more doctors like him. We as a family are so grateful and appreciative for all he did for mom. She spoke very highly of him and so do we. Many thanks. 🧡🐧

A patient of his qualifies for insurance compensation when they are hospitalized under certaing conditions. The insurance company requires a doctors letter stating reason for hospitalization, entry and exit dates, etc on one of their standard forms or on release documents. I chased after Dr. Schorr for almost 3 months unsuccessfully to get the paper work for both hospital stays. He ignored messages, verbal requests, written requests, and the interceeding of hospital staff on my behalf. The patient lost several thousands because of Dr. Schorr's neglect. The patient will be hospitalized again and i will be doing my best to get them a doctor wheo is competent and attends to their administrative duties. His communication skills are lacking. I feel that Dr. Schorr is a most frustrating and uncooperative physician.

To our frustration he arbitrarily ordered the cancellation of the patient's out-of -hospital specialist appointment without consultation with the patient nor family. We had to rebook the appointment. Requests for procuring diagnostic referrals to specialists within the hospital were slow when he did follow through with family requests. He appeared to require observations of others to guide his overall treatment /diagnosis plan (?). Within his narrow field, he seemed competent. His communication skills with his patient and the patient's family left all looking blank and confused. Many attempts to communicate with him were ignored by him. I would never have him again.
