Update from my March 2018 comment — it was 3 years ago today Dr. M performed my parotidectomy. I am pleased to say the scar is barely visible and no lingering side effect.

This Dr insisted a could not be removed from submadlar gland. Go for CT says stone is. 0.9mm. I say it's 1cm and not in the gland. Refuses to listen. Finally puts finger in mouth feels, stone. Sticks to same diagnosis. Gee Dr it's in the Wharton duct and can't get out. Third Dr I go to says how the h did they miss that big stine. I'll book surgery it's simple in and out procedure. So this Dr made me suffer and extra year. Dr wake up!!

Dr. Mostachfi is fantastic. He treats you respectfully and explains well. I saw him ten months ago, and the treatment he recommended for me has made a huge difference. My quality of life is so, so much better. I don't want to sound too gushy, but his approach is so refreshing compared to the other GPs and specialists who I have seen before with this issue. (Of course, the GP who referred me was very wise!)

Dr. Mostachfi has cleaned our infant's ears. It was amazing to observe how Dr. communicated with the infant, preparing him for the procedure. My infant didn't cry and even enjoyed the process.

One of the best doctors ever. Knowledgeable, wonderful bedside manners always ready to explain his diagnostics. Wish they all were like this. We have been his patients for 16 years!

Dr Mostachfi was the first doctor to properly diagnose my abnormal polyp growth and deviated septum, after a year of clinic doctors telling me to keep using steroids and that I was an anomaly with no explanations or further investigations for my symptoms (wouldn't examine nose, no MRIs/xrays ), I wouldn't be referred to Dr Mostachfi until the growth was hanging out my face for all to see ( guess I wasn't an anomaly). In our first 2 minutes he was able to determine I had an abnormal growth in my sinuses and immediately ordered cat scans, blood work and follow up visits to relieve me of my inability to breathe. Instantly I noticed the quality of care and pride in his work and this is reflected in the amazing care he gives his patients, he is all about improving quality of life for the patient- not masking the problem or hoping it will resolve itself, Dr Mostachfi goes above and beyond to cure your ailments and speaks in a plain, calming language about expectations and results never leaving you unassured. Thank you Dr Mostachfi you are my saviour in this nightmare of a medical system, this is my second surgery and second growth in under two years and yet the struggle to receive a referral both times was beyond frustrating and depressing, the only times I have been listened to, assured, diagnosed and treated appropriately for my growths and medical issues is through my visits to Dr Mostachfi, who refuses to cut corners and neglect his patients.

Victoria is fortunate to have Dr Mostachfi's skills as well as his gentle manner, knowledgeable expertise and thorough follow up. Long waiting lists attest to his popularity and needed contributions to the ENT field in the CRD.
As our population ages and hearing loss and issues increase, we need to celebrate that he has chosen to remain here! He remembered me from a previous hearing loss issue, and when an infection caused a perforated eardrum, he then noticed I had an enlarged thyroid. Three biopsies later (by other physicians), he then referred me to a surgeon. Fingers crossed but he's my rock!

Dr. Mostachfi is an incredible doctor, he is patient, gentle, kind and informative. He did my Septoplasty and I could not have had a better surgeon! His office is also very clean and bright. Highly recommended!
