I have no doubt that he is a skilled surgeon. I was told by my dentist that he is dismissive if it is not a cancer case. I had no choice as there are so few ENTs in Victoria. His manners are terrible; he made me feel neurotic, as if I had no right to be in his office. I see that some others here have had a similar experience.

Gets to the heart of the problem. Does not waste time and deals with. I was basically suffering and multiple visits to ER doctors were not getting to the root of the problem that needed attention. One office visit to Dr. Cheung and he knew what was needed. He sent me back to hospital ER and met me there. He did what was needed and I feel so much better. His office staff were very pleasant... Must be they work for a great Dr. Highly recommend!

From the moment I got into Dr. Cheung's office, I got the " Bums Rush "
Not to mention that the appointment was late by over half an hour.
He asked me why I was there and what my concerns were.
I started to answer, and he cut me off, and said lean back and started to examine me.
He kept telling me that everything was pristine and come back another day.
I tried again to tell him one specific concern, but he gruffly told ne to leave.
I said...." Hang on one sec....I just wanted to tell you "....and he said, with aggression in his voice that I had better leave right now. It's worth noting that I am not some old bumbling fool repeating myself, but a college educated professional of 52 years old.

The doctor was helpful and I was a bit nervous and worried about my surgery. I had total thyroidectomy. l guess it had to do with the possible outcome from the surgery the doctor told me but everything turned out good after the surgery. I feel very lucky and all it is because the doctor did a good job on my surgery.

Dr. Cheung was not helpful and dismissed my concerns. He prescribed medication which had side effects. Despite voicing side effects I was experiencing due to his prescription, he told me to keep using them and said the side effects were not due to the medication. I have been left with chronic issues from what he prescribed. I did not feel comfortable to voice my symptoms or ask for more questions as I felt quickly dismissed.

This was my 13 th surgery in my life , cheung was by far the very worst experiance I've had , a year later I'm left with an affliction and was not helped at all , cheung had no time to talk with me , he had lots of time to be all cutesy with the nurses ,I would advise anyone to stay away from this man , I also felt some racial distain from him . I went through a grievance charade and got zero help , apparently I'm left with a permanent affliction in my throat , food swollowing is obstructed and gagging to clear my throat is how I'm left by this man . Both he and dr Pathick are colleagues and some how work together , both are not recomendable by me . Terrible Drs
